Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Omaha

I have been coming to this location for over 3 years now. I typically go there 2-3 times per week. Today I ordered an oatmeal and two lattes (for a coffee date with my mom), I was excited for her to try one of my favorite oatmeals. Imagine my surprise when I got to my mom's house (30 minute drive) and noticed that there were no toppings provided for the oatmeal, it was just an old plain oatmeal (I paid about $3.50 for oats and water). I was very disappointed but I decided to call to tell them that they forgot to provide toppings. The young lady told me that they ran out of toppings and that is why they did not provide them to me. I was upset, so I asked "nobody told me that when I put in the order for the oatmeal" to which she replied "I guess we could have told you that, we will next time."

Seriously, they knowingly sold me an incomplete order (missing ingredients), still charged me full price for it, did not apologized, nor offered a store credit/refund. I don't typically get this upset over oatmeal and it might even sound ridiculous but their response and attitude was unacceptable and it is sad that they have lost my business and my...

I decided to treat my son to the kids combo this morning as a “last day of summer” treat and I saw on my app that I had a free drink in my rewards! Score, I could get a drink too! I toggled the reward on so it could be used, ordered my drinks, had the guy at the window scan the app (I was not given a total at the window), received my drinks and drove home only to check my bank account and realize the “free drink reward” didn’t come off and I had to pay for the $9 drink that I wouldn’t have ordered if I didn’t have a “free drink reward”.
