A Hidden Gem in Benson! 🍧🧇🍗🧋
We stumbled upon this adorable dessert and snack spot in the up-and-coming Benson area—and wow, what a treat! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone. The space is clean, well lit & decorated, and perfect for family gatherings or catching up with friends.
The menu has something for everyone—sweet croffles, refreshing snowy treats, and savory snacks like chicken wings and takoyaki. Everything we tried was incredibly flavorful, and honestly, I couldn’t even pick a favorite because they were all equally amazing!
Their boba drinks were a standout—delicious without being overly sweet, which I really appreciate. It’s hard to find drinks that strike that perfect balance, but they nailed it here.
The cherry on top? The owner is super friendly and genuinely courteous, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a relaxed, cozy place to spend your afternoon or weekend, this spot should be at the top of your list. Can’t wait to come back and try more! Highly recommend give this snowy/boba/snack place a try. You will not be disappointed! Btw the owner homemade all the potatoes balls & jellies. That’s why they tasted so good, chewy, fresh, and delicious!
Update 7/17/25 We went back again a few days ago. Yummy Mango Binsu, takoyaki, & croffle! We highly recommend this place! Give it a try! You will not be...
Read moreThis shop is opened up by the owner of umami of Bellevue. He extends his perfectionism of craft to this new venture. This is a great addition especially since yoshitomo doesn't really have dessert.
We went all out to try a bunch of different items. When we ordered the shaved ice hot pot, he told the two of us, it's for 3-4 people. We said challenge accepted. Also it really is for that many people. It's huge and with the other items we got, we did not finish it.
They have a machine that you can order from. (I included a video of that in my review.)
They recommended the chicken wings. Surprisingly I'm still craving them (I don't often have cravings). So crispy! The price was 5.25 for 5 I think? It's nice actually hanging the hot salty chicken with the cold sweet iced milk. The croffle was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Their Okinawa brown sugar boba is a great version as was their jasmine tea fruit boba. I'm particular about Boba texture.
The price is good, the food was great, and it's in an elegant setting. The chairs are bit more unique (you can reference the video)
They aren't completely finished their setup as there is no major signage up in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place...
Read moreI recently visited and had a generally enjoyable experience, especially with the Snowy Sundaes. We ordered two variations—one with strawberries and the other with mango. The Strawberry Snowy Sundae was exceptional, with perfectly fresh strawberries and well-textured ice. While the Mango Snowy Sundae was also delightful, the mangoes, though good, didn’t taste as fresh as I had hoped.
However, there are a few aspects that could be improved. The ambiance felt somewhat lackluster, with minimal decor that didn’t quite enhance the overall experience. The lack of consistent background music contributed to a rather subdued atmosphere, and the limited seating made it challenging to find a spot without having to wait. Given that the Snowy Sundaes are a dine-in only option, this was a bit inconvenient.
While the customer service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff, the pricing did seem a bit steep for the portion sizes offered. It’s certainly an experience worth having, but it may not be the most cost-effective option for larger groups. I would recommend this spot for dates, small gatherings, or as a late-night treat.
Overall, despite the minor drawbacks, I enjoyed my visit and look forward...
