Really upsetting visit! I enjoy starbucks and visit often, but tonight in Omaha was a major disappointment. I went through the drive through right around 9:00pm, the cafe was empty and I was the only one in the drive thru. Not only did my order take a bit, not necessarily what I am upset about but still a tad annoying. I ordered; one grande extra hot caramel toffeenut latte, and one grande caramel frappacino with esprosso/instead of coffee roast with extra ice. My frappacino was like water!!! I asked for extra ice because the espresso melts the ice. I don't in any way expect extra drink, just that the frappacino be the right consistency. I get to the window and watch them poor the drink from the blender. It was like soup! When the girl opened the window, I kindly asked if they had put extra ice in blender. Her response; "I don't know, I can add extra but that's your choice." Crickets!!!! Um, well, I did ask for extra ice. I should have stayed and made them fix their mistake, but she was extremely rude and should have fixed it as soon as I pointed out the error. She did offer to remake the drink, but did not want to. I left with my caramelly water that I paid extra for because I subbed espresso, I just wish that my drink would have been what I ordered. Finally, the latte was not extra hot, but thats a pretty easy fix. I'm irrated that I paid money for a service that I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have no problem with the store or its, cleanliness. It's just the employees I was told today I can't come through the drive-through unless I'm wearing a shirt they have previously told me they can't remake my drinks, even though I ordered the same thing every day and spend hundreds of dollars a week at this establishment itself I and am I wrong to ask for my drink to be remade?? all I wanted was for them to do their job and make my drink correct. Ever sense then all the employees have been rude to me for no reason now telling me unless I wear a shirt through the drive-through that I'm not allowed to come in this store anymore now I'm being told what I have to wear to go through the drive thru I get discriminated against enough already I find it absolutely ridiculous that they're making up reasons that I can't get my coffee from a certain Starbucks. No Starbucks has ever said anything to me like this and I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI walked into the Starbucks on 72nd Street today with my service dog to grab a quick Ollipop because Iām diabetic and my glucose was extremely low. Instead of being treated with common decency, I was met with outright rudeness. The attendant at the register had the audacity to tell me to leave because of my dog.
This wasnāt just ignoranceāit was arrogance. Service animals are protected by law, and for a staff member to not only question that, but to treat me like an inconvenience, is absolutely unacceptable. I left feeling embarrassed, angry, and deeply disappointed.
Starbucks claims to be inclusive and accommodating, but experiences like this say otherwise. Staff need immediate retraining on ADA compliance and how to interact respectfully with people who rely on service animals. Until then, I will not be returning to this locationāand Iāll be sharing this experience...
