Legends Patio Grill and Bar - Aksarben — Restaurant in Omaha

I went to Legends yesterday with my husband and a friend and will never go back! When we arrived, they were not busy, the waitress came right away, but that's where the service stopped. I drank my tea pretty fast and sat with an empty cup to be refilled; however, the waitress never stopped back to fill up my glass until the food arrived. I ordered the "legendary nachos" and they were absolutely horrible. It was a plate full of chips with a tiny amount of shredded cheese (most of the chips were plain) that had been microwaved, a few tomatoes and 2 globs of sour cream and guacamole (clearly not made in-house). My friend ordered the sorry nachos as well and his were just as bad. We had to ask for a side of salsa (were charged for it) which tasted like Pace Picante sauce, not to mention the salsa was warm, gross. I also ordered onion rings and they were gross as well. They were soggy with the grease, which tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a very long time. My husband ordered french fries that didn't arrive with the rest of the food and had to remind the waitress that he ordered them. Everything on the menu was frozen and disgusting. There wasn't 1 fresh item to be had. Neither my friend or myself finished our food, not even close. It's been a long time since I've had such horrible food and service.

My tea was empty again, of course the waitress wasn't around, rather she was sitting at the bar with the bartender (yes, the bartender was sitting at the bar and not behind it working) watching TV. My friend had to walk up to the bar and grab the pitcher of tea to fill my glass. The waitress NEVER stopped by to ask how we were until she was dropping of the bill. Instead she sat at the bar, directly across from where we were siting so she saw that my glass was empty, along with my husband and friends’ empty glasses. I'm glad that she was able to sit and relax while she was working, and then take a shot with the bartender as we were leaving.

My experience was horrible, and I will never go back and fully plan to tell anyone and everyone how horrible the food and service was. My only regret, besides eating there, was not asking for a...

I’d give 0 stars if available. Terrible Service!! We stopped in for lunch. Ordered our drinks. We both ordered salads. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad, husband ordered Chef Salad. She asked me if I wanted Grilled or Crispy, I clarified Crispy( just like it said on menu). We waited a little long for 2 salads but they were busy. When they came, mine was Grilled chicken. I told the server I had ordered Crispy. She stated it would only take a couple minutes to rectify. My husband was almost done with his salad and I waved down the server and asked about my food. She said they were going to bring out the Crispy Chicken. I said it had been quite awhile, & to get-r-done. Another server came and asked how we were doing, I said not well (since I still didn’t have my food). She asked me if I told her other server to chop-chop, I said yes (cause an error should get priority). She told me they weren’t making my salad and comped our drinks and his salad. We went for lunch on a Friday around 11:30. Only one other table with two people also having lunch. The music was very loud and hard to hear our waitress. Husband ordered a well-done burger, fries, and an extra side of onion rings. I ordered the Bavarian pretzel with honey mustard sauce. Burger was cooked medium - still pink in the middle, onion rings were large and looked hand-battered - my husband said they were very good. The fries were also yummy - seasoned well and crispy. My pretzel was served in a puddle of grease - it was large, soft, and salty - did not need to be bathed in oil. I had to eat it with a fork to avoid the grease. The honey mustard sauce was tasty. We waited quite a while after finishing our meal before seeing our waitress again. She never asked if we wanted refills on drinks or anything else. We asked for our bill with the dirty dishes still on the table. The place was still slow - only four tables and one person at the bar with two waitresses and one bartender.
