The food is pretty good, but my recent experience was not.
I spoke clearly into the intercom at the drive thru "one order of chicken fried rice, one order of spicy beef fried rice, and two orders crab rangoon"
When I got to the window the man asked "you said beef fried rice?" And I answered "spicy beef fried rice please" but some how when he walked away I knew there was still a misunderstanding. He came to charge me & I stated "the chicken fried rice is NOT spicy correct?" He told me he made a mistake and would be back. Then he came back to charge me. When I got home the fried rices were correct but there was only one order of crag Rangoon and I have no way of know if I was charged for two because the receipts aren't itemized.
This is one of the best tasting fast food Chinese spots I've been to in a while, but maybe they need a new drive thru speaker or should repeat the orders back instead of just...
Read moreI ordered from Hunan Garden last night. Hunan Beef, Beef Fried rice, Egg roll, and crab rangoon. I was very unimpressed. The fried rice was not very good at all. the rice was maybe fried for a few seconds and resembled more of a steamed rice with added ingredients had very little to no flavor and reminded me of a grocery store deli version. The hunan beef was not good either. The broccoli was good though, florettes and cooked well but that was it. The crab rangoon had 0 crab 0 onion (not always in all though) and was nothing but cream cheese, The egg roll was good though I enjoyed the spice and flavor and cabbage to pork ratio was good. The portions were large to say the least. Was impressed the size. Just not with the taste or quality.
1 star because of the portion and the 2nd because...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I ate at Wong's Hunan Garden last weekend. We ate off the Korean menu, and the food was good! The mandu wasn't as traditional, but it was pretty standard for what I can find stateside. We each got soup, and had nice large portions and the food tasted good! We were offered refills on our side dishes, and I'm happy to say that we had at least six different dishes (I always hate it when Korean restaurants skimp on the side dishes.) The service was prompt, and our server was friendly. I originally came to the restaurant because the menu is in Korean. I believe the cook is Korean, but also serves Chinese food to increase the restaurant appeal. I cannot speak to the Chinese food, but I did glance at another table's Korean food, and it also looked...
