Friday 9/1/2017 8PM.
Had to wait in line at the drive thru for over 20 minutes.
When I placed the order, I had to repeat it twice because the order taker wasn't paying attention to me, even though I was speaking clearly and there was no background noise.
I only ordered 2 sandwiches. One regular, one with no tomato, pickle, or onion. The order showed up correctly on the drive-thru screen.
I finally pulled up even with the first drive thru window, which apparently they don't use. There were a couple of people (manager possibly?) just standing around in the back looking up at the order screens and pacing around. Not making orders or helping anyone.
When I finally got to the window, it was the same guy who took my order.
I returned home to find that both sandwiches were made regular. My special order sandwich was made 'all the way' with tomato and onions, and it had pickles all over it, which I cannot eat. They make me sick to my stomach. This is not just being picky. I can deal with taking stuff off if it's made wrong, but pickles make me sick. Even so, it's not your job to decide the right way to make my order. "Have it your way" is BK's slogan and you should try to abide by it.
On top of this, both of the sandwiches were practically cold.
There were no napkins in the bag, but there was a cold french fry stuck in the bottom of the bag for some reason. DIdn't order any fries.
I didn't get a receipt for my order, but there was a grill ticket taped to my bag.
It's ridiculous that a simple 2 sandwich order is too difficult for these people to figure out. It's unacceptable to wait 15-20 minutes for cold food made wrong. In having to wait that amount of time, there's simply no excuse for you to get it wrong for any reason. When you have people waiting 10-15-20 minutes per order, there should be managers in the back helping the kids make the orders so those people don't HAVE to wait forever.
It's your job to serve the customers and give them what they ask in exchange for their money. Your job is to get it right. It doesn't matter if it's busy and it doesn't matter if you don't like it. Do the job right or find someone who can.
I don't really blame this on the kids trying to make the orders. They were probably doing the best they can. I think this is clearly a result of mismanagement. It's been my observation that at least 50% of all fast food restaurant management have serious personality flaws and are usually way too lazy, rude, overpaid, and are grossly unqualified to supervise anyone.
I'm not an overly picky customer, but this isn't the first time this place has screwed up an order. It will be the last. I'll take my business elsewhere in the future, and I advise everyone else to...
Read moreThis place is usually my go to, but lately it has been terrible. The seats are covered in food, not the typical rush hour either. When I walked in literally 3 girls were just sitting in the lobby. One had to get up and take my order. I had to address her and when asked "How are you" I was answered with "I'm here" . I ordered a plain chicken sandwich, can't get any easier than that! I watched as the cook took a piece of chicken, held it in his hand and starred at the screen as if at any second that plain chicken would change to anything else. After looking at the screen four or five times he put it in the area when sandwiches are made. No joke, I stood there looking at the now made up sandwich waiting on someone to get it and complete my transaction. Nope. Three people just looked at me, waiting. It was 15 minutes after I ordered a fully already cooked piece of chicken. One girl apicked it up and yelled at the cook, "is this plain"? The cook looked at her like a deer in headlights. She then opened my sandwich and looked at it. It would not have bothered me IF SHE WAS WEARING GLOVES. No one seems to be directing anyone there. The cashier was obviously new as she was attempting to take someone else's order and having to yell to someone in the back to remove something she entered incorrectly. Eating out is not what it use to be. People just seem not to...
Read moreUnderstand. Normally, i am a "fan" of Burger King. Today, my opnion changed and it was like this the last time i came here 6 months ago.
The food had been held under a heat-lamp, that was VERY obvious. The Diet Coke had too much carbination in it. The fries were the ONLY thing that was slightly enjoyable and there was a "mix" of fries with onion rings (i didn't order).
Here's the oddity that was non-related to the food. These people were dressed...."gothic" (and i have nothing against that, odd as it was) i guess and, while they spoke english to me, they spoke some weird language to each other (not spanish or anything else i would recognize) which seemed like something from a science fiction show.
These people need to "focus" on quality. My Locust Fork Burger King might be slow (staff issue) but their food is ALWAYS excellent. Someone needs to get in there and monitor them until they get back in better shape and...
