Please don't make the same mistake i did. Back in late 2023, a young man walked up to my car to introduce him self to me and my wife. This was because I had my Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 flag up. After talking for a while, he mentioned his mom has a home based business where she cooks all the local dishes and we should give her food a try. In my line of work I travel a bit etc. and I totally forgot about the interaction with Jason and his mom business.
Fast forward one year and a half later. Last Friday 7th 2025, my wife and I felt for some good tnt food. At this time, I still forgot about Jason " her son". While doing a search online for the nearest place for trini food. Found this place 1hr away, called in and place my order which was 2 potato roti w/pumpkin for my wife, and 2 goat roti for my self and 2 Solo (banana & sorrel)
The roti was just how I remembered it back home, and very delicious.
After talking with the owner a bit before we left, it just so happened, she was Jason's Mom, (the gentleman that walked up to my car over a year ago) Such a small world.
I would highly recommend you go try her food if you happen to be in the Ontario CA area, give her a try you won't regret it.
Don't just show up. Call a couple days in advance for she needs time to prep, since she cooks the food fresh to order.
Btw, we're here planning what we going to order for next...
Read moreAlley’s cuisine is hands-down one of the best Trinidadian food spots I’ve been to!
I had the doubles, curry goat, peas and aloo, and paratha (buss up shut)—and every single bite was bursting with flavor. The doubles were perfectly spiced with that soft, fluffy bara and just the right amount of chutney and pepper. The curry goat was fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned to perfection. And that paratha? Soft, flaky, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth good.
Even the peas and aloo on the side hit the spot—rich, comforting, and full of that true Trini taste. The food was delicious. You can tell they put love into every dish.
If you’re craving real, authentic Trinidadian food, Alley’s Cuisine “Hot on “D” Spot” is exactly where you need to be. I’ll...
Read moreListen, if you have ever had authentic Caribbean food then you'll know what I'm talking about when you try Alley's. My mother is from Barbados, God rest her soul, and Alley's cooking takes me back to when I was a child. Perfect. Huge portions, perfectly made Roti, flavorful, and filling. No food coma because it's made with non-processed ingredients. Almost had me in tears. Also, considering her kitchen is the point of origin and sale, I felt like I was at home. She's gratious, humble, and made me feel like I was family. Can't say enough. I am blessed to have found her. I'm...
