Firehouse Subs — Restaurant in Ontario

I always drive by Firehouse Subs and today I finally tried it and I found my experience sub-par. I walk in the first thing I noticed was that probably every table was dirty and the floor full of crumbs. I understand this is restaurant you can't always be there cleaning tables and sweeping every nick and canny but from the time I was there you think someone might go and see if the tables needed to be clean. The drink area was good but also needed attention due to its sticky soda fontain and table. When I went to fill my drink the preperation area was also unsanitary. The cup lids and straws were just out there waiting for someones grubby hands to touch. The employees were fine but I can tell that they didn't receive the training they needed to effectively make a good sandwich or package one either. I waited to make my order and none of the employees asked if was ready. I knew I should have checked to see if they got everything correctly. When I came home I had a sigh of relief they got everything right . When I finally got to eat noticed my club sub was warm and lettuce soggy. I was so confused did I get warm sandwich?....nope they just put hot sandwichs with a cold sandwich. The sandwich tasted good but it was so soggy. Update; free T-Mobile Tuesday and guess what they say the computers are down to get my so call free Sandwich, but you must buy something to get it. So no Sandwich because computers were down. (wink wink) Next t I have to ask to be serve on, workers standing around and I'm the best waiting finally I had to ask for service. Last time I ever go there... I will let all my friends know not to go there. If I could give it a no star I would.

Never had Firehouse but T-mobile Tuesday had it so you can get a free sub so we decided to give it a try, well My wife went inside and I stayed at home to baby sit but I gave my wife my phone with code for a free sub, we both had one. the Girl behind counter would not honor and said she only could use one code even though my wife had her phone and my phone with 2 separate codes and told him I was at home baby sitting... the Girl had a attitude and said no only one.. so bought one sandwich and had the Chile, Chile was spicy and bland, I had the Italian sandwich yuk, the bread was soggy and the sauce taste like puke,, I was surprised that it didn't taste like a Italian sandwich, let say that I wasn't happy with the service or sandwich and won't go back.. I had the most horrible interaction today with a specific sandwich maker Makenzie. She's the big girl with red hair. As I am ordering I felt very rushed and I could tell she seemed very irritated as soon as I walked in the door. The way she spoke to me felt very draining as if it were such a hassle for her to listen to me make up my mind about what I came in here to order. As I am a paying customer with an eating disorder it feels horrible walking in to a place and the first thing to greet me is an attitude of irritation. Half way through ordering I pondered if I should even continue, I felt I was bothering this worker so much while I was just coming to get what I paid for. What a shame. I know the owner Vivek as well I've been coming here for years and I can't believe he has someone on his front line like this. The last thing I need while already fighting with myself on if I should even eat a meal or not, the last thing I need was to feel like I'm a burden to you while trying to order the food.
