When the doughnut arrived, it didn't disappoint. The presentation was remarkable with authentic parchment to catch the bits of goodness as I delved into the chocolate peanut butter and jelly sandwich doughnut they call "The Charlie Action" that is basically a peanut butter and jelly filled deep fried brownie/doughnut with chocolate frosting and peanut butter sprinkles. They offer a small donation to veterans with every purchase of "The Charlie Action". The Doughnut was so damn socially responsible I was not only FORCED to eat it, I got one to go! That's not all, the doughnut seemed to have some type of siren effect because before I knew it, I was calling out out for the manager and I MATCHED his 6% per-purchase-goes-to-local-Veterans deal with a little donation to his Veteran...

If you are in the area and need a good doughnut or sando, give them a try! If you are like me and like to keep the sugar or filling to a minimum then this is the spot. Honestly, I love me a sugared doughnut every so often and this place always gives me a sweet tooth fix. The doughnut is soft and fluffy, yet crunchy can’t explain it. The owner is awesome, not just because he too is a golfer but he knows my partner and always asks about her golf game. What I love about this place is if you love pink box donuts. This place delivers fresh, large sized, very tasty, soft, well glazed donuts, that stay fresh for at least 2 days after purchasing. Usually you buy these if they aren't eaten that day, you can forget about it the next day. They become deadly weapons within 24hrs by how hard they become.
