B's Chicken and Waffles — Restaurant in Ontario

Wow.!! Just when you think you've experienced it all.... 1st of all, I called last week they answered the phone said they were closed for remodeling. Now it's Sunday and they're open...Yay.!! I was seated at a table and waited for waitress to come take my order. She comes over and says "I'm sorry we can't take your order because we only have one cook".. Wow, Really.!!! I'm by myself. She said "I'm sorry. If I had known this I would not have seated you" What a Sunday DISAPPOINTMENT at the Highest Level........ I walked out hungry and feeling very disrespected.... smh.

9/22/2022 - In response to the "Owner" or whomever took the time to reply, unprofessionally, to my initial review. Your waitress, the very nice young lady who greeted me at the door and seated me at the first table, left of the podium, clearly has me mistaken. Possibly for the gentleman who went inside while I was in the parking lot writing a review.

Let me be more precise. Check your surveillance cameras for accuracy.

On Sunday, September 18, 2022 at approximately 11:24 A.M I entered your restaurant wearing a Black 49ers jersey with Red #80, RICE on the back, an army fatigue 49er hat with red bib, red/black Jordan's, and black shorts. I was clearly seated at a table in which there was several vacant tables to choose from.

While looking at the menu, my daughter video called me and I showed her the menu. She said "Mmm Dad, that looks good. Where are you at?" I told her. We talked for a couple more minutes and I got off the as the waitress approached me, assuming to take my order.

Need I say more? Okay.

One gentleman wearing a hat, facing the front door, sitting behind me accompanied by two women and a baby in a high chair. In front of me, right next to the window, right side of front door, were two men and two women. The single cook, a woman with lots of braids. Three to four waitresses in total. Football game on television to my left mounted up high.

There was absolutely no display of anger coming from me. As I said before I was very disappointed and more shocked that I was seated and then pretty much told to leave. The atmosphere appeared to be very diverse So I'd like to think that discrimination played no part in this. Being "mad" or causing a scene was not an option. I politely walked out to my car to write a review and waited to see how the next person who entered the restaurant was treated.

The next man, about 6 foot 3, bald, wearing jeans and a polo shirt. Now he looked a little upset walking back to his blue Impala vehicle. Smh

REVISITED: I went back and dined in with my two brothers and my visit was better. The food was great just as amazing as the last time. The service was better though, there were just as many ppl as the 1st time I visited but I think the employees were more experience this time. there were different hostesses than the last time and I think the caucasian female who may have been a manager wasn't there this time. maybe she had offset them. the cook was the same and like I said the food was great. our wait time was exactly 13:21 so it wasn't too long, we talked and had our drinks already. I would revisit this establishment the food is really good!

The food was great! I feel like I should point this out first. It's jus the customer service was pretty bad. It's not because they weren't nice, the sista with the short afro who eventually helped me was really sweet especially. It was jus that the other staff kinda were doing the little busying work while she was stretching herself thin, seating people and taking orders. I was jus making an order to go with my best friend, typically establishments have you come up to the counter to make those orders and you pay right away right? We waited at the podium for a long time. We were told to make our order there, and then I watch the chef start putting together our order while I waited for the check. He was done with our sandwiches before the check came and they jus sat there on the counter. we got the check and then waited a long time to pay, eventually when we got our order and could leave, we were so hungry we ate our fries in the car, they were soggy af. typically I do not like soggy fries but I was ok with these! the Mac Daddy sandwiches were so good! the waffle became soggy from the wait and our drive home but I still loved it and I plan on going back to dine in and see if it's...

I ordered a classic bacon and eggs breakfast and chicken and waffles for my family members. Everything was really delicious. The bacon was a huge portion of extra thick sliced bacon cooked extra crispy. (My favorite)

The fried chicken was the biggest hit. The coating is thin and super crispy and the meat is juicy and steaming hot. "This chicken is REALLY good." I overheard everyone saying, especially at my table.

We loved the music and the happy attitude shared by all the staff members. "How are you doing family?" Me and my lucky family members replied "Great!" with big smiles and full tummies.

The chef offered us a free sample of the house potatoes and we loved sharing the cheesy bacon covered potato wedges. Try this dish with friends!
