Casa Jaramillo is a family style sit down homestyle mexican restaurant with classic menu offerings. It's a little shabby looking, but don't let appearances fool you, the food is delightful.
I cook my own chile verde from an old recipe that I have done many trial and error adjustments on to perfect. Jaramillo's is just as good, which I can never say about restaurant chile verde. It's delicious yall.
The missus decided on chicken fajitas, and they were also very good. Peppers, onions, grilled green onions, and tender strips of chicken, all on that renowned fajita cast iron plate with all the little charred tasty bits. Flour tortillas were light and fluffy and tasted like they were made in house. Rice and beans and sides were all fresh and tasty too.

Every time I go in, the salsa varies in flavor and spiciness (I think this is a good thing- fresh peppers!). It is obvious that the chef is hand cooking and creating these dishes.
