Rent-A-Center — Local services in Ontario

I recently went in to this store because I heard about a Presidents Sale that they were advertising. I got greeted by an employee that could pass off as a homeless man. He introduced himself as Shane or Shame. I couldn't understand him. He was not in uniform and looked like he forgot to bathe and lost his razor eons ago. I have seen homeless people better dressed and groomed then him. I was interested in a tv and a new couch. He had no clue about his products and was way more concerned about his phone. He smelled so much like pot that it almost made me sick. I over heard him saying he couldn't wait to go home and get stoned. I have nothing against pot but it's unprofessional to come to work and talk about it. I want to rate this store with a negative star but the only reason I gave it a 1 star rating was cause I ended up talking to Shane or Shames work partner ( the other guy in the store) and he was 100 times more helpful and knew about his products. Who ever is in charge of this store needs to get their employees a UA or something cause Shame was...

TALK ABOUT THE WORSE WAY TO WAKE UP!! Banging on my damn door like you’re the police! after dealing with sick kiddos.. NOT ACCEPTABLE! especially when I DONT RENT FROM YOU GUYS!!! what gives you the right?? Called the store and the girl Ana was even more disrespectful and definitely not understanding to the harassment I just dealt with.. (corporates words not mine).. yeah.. I called corporate for sure. I’ve rented and paid for all my stuff in the past and I will never rent nor recommend ANYONE to ever go there if this is how they treat people who don’t even rent from them. UNPROFESSIONAL.

I went to a couple different stores in search of a king bed, stopped by and had the pleasure to work with the manager. This store is very professional, and gets straight too the point on what the customer is looking for, had a family type feel walking in. Omar and Jesus dropped the bed off and set it up quick and were very nice and clean with the work. All I gotta say is I would recommend this location for all your needs, hard finding good customer service Thanks manager! And thanks Omar and Jesus. You guys keep at it. Really appreciated all that you did...
