We comeback after 6 months since my First time at this torito, for a drinks and little of dance after our first experience with our brothers from Rancho Cucamonga fire department. Unfortunately we were treated badly after 1 tequila shot and 2 beers we disede with my husband that is time for us to leave, we ask the bartender for our check and his reply was showing me bottles and glasses pretending he can understand what I was asking him. for? he keep asking me you want another shot, a whiskey , a margarita what do you want,? and my husband tell him the check please we are living!!! he replied is there in the cup in front of you . I took my credit card out and say sorry I didn't see it but please can you charge me we need to get going.? He said yes took my credit card and after 15 minutes going back and forth ,in front of us I say please I need to go I need my card back!!
he keeps charging some other people's card and Caring mine around without processing it . my husband asking for my credit card and ,he put it down in front of a customer and so my husband went all the way around to get it. when he see my husband coming to get it he picked-up and get in the middle of the bar forcing my husband to go and chase the card that he keeps putting it down and pick up . like playing games with us so when my husband approached him he took the card call the security, take the credit card and run out of the bar . He then went into the kitchen of the restaurant having my husband and I chase after him, the security guard stop us. And saying he was going to call the police. My husband tell him yes call them up because I don't know what this guy take my card ? and then he still not back until I ask for the manager some else finally bring my card but i don't know what this guy did with my card I left upset for the scandal and bad service the manager assistant came saying that the manager was not there and the situation scaled to a bad experience .to all our fellow firemen's friends and families I telling you to avoid this location at all cost they are very unprofessional and who knows what they do when you are not watching!! I will love to talk to the owner in person and please check your cameras so you can see what this bartender did to us. I am a credible reviewer for Google .feel free to contact me please . Att...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were looking forward to lunch at El Torito today. We had a great lunch at El Torito last week at the Riverside location and were hoping to try the buffet today. The area we were placed in got busy pretty quickly with a large group and quite a few smaller parties coming in after us. We had to ask a hostess to get us drinks since our waitress was focused on the larger group and other tables. By the time she came by, she quickly asked us if we were ok in which we were by that time since we did the buffet and the hostess got our drinks. Our drinks ran dry and my boyfriend asked the waitress for a refill of ice water. She took his glass and he watched her go to a small kitchen area to refill his water. He observed the waitress fill his glass with ice water, spit in his drink twice, and nudge another employee between spits to show her what she was doing to the drink. She didn't think he'd be watching her and as she came from the kitchen with his water she saw him looking at her and instead of bringing him the glass she nervously walked in another direction. He immediately told me what she did and we decided to leave and report the incident to the manager. The waitress approached us at the front as we were reporting the incident to the manager with a different glass of water. Mind you, my bfs water had lemon in it as she left the kitchen after spitting in his drink. The drink she now had had no lemon in it and had obviously been dumped out. The waitress told the manager that the nozzle in the kitchen she was in was broke and that's why she walked passed us with the other water to go to another location in the restaurant to get water. Which doesn't make sense because after she spit in his drink, she emerged from the kitchen with a full glass of water. The manager stated she would cover the bill and would review the cameras. She said the waitress would be disciplined if any wrongdoing was seen. We left the restaurant very disappointed and distraught. You hear of waitresses or fast food workers spitting or contaminating the drinks or food of guests but you don't think you'd witness it or have it happen to you. Spitting in someone's drink should be assault as spitting on someone is considered. This act is a terrible reflection on the establishment, management, and service...
Read moreEl Torito is a westernized Mexican restaurant (in my opinion) that delivers a warm, inviting atmosphere along with consistently flavorful food. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly staff and a festive setting that immediately makes you feel at home. The interior features rustic décor, vibrant colors, and traditional Mexican design elements that add to the cultural experience. Whether you're there for a casual lunch or a celebratory dinner, the environment is lively yet comfortable. One of the highlights of dining at El Torito is the fresh, complimentary chips and salsa that arrive shortly after you're seated—perfectly crisp chips paired with a tangy, slightly spicy salsa that wakes up your taste buds. Their tableside guacamole is another must-try, made fresh right in front of you with creamy avocados, lime, jalapeños, and other customizable ingredients to suit your taste. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Mexican dishes, from sizzling fajitas and enchiladas to hearty burritos and street tacos. Every dish I’ve tried has been well-prepared and generously portioned. The meats are flavorful and tender, and the sauces have just the right amount of spice. I particularly recommend the shrimp fajitas and the carne asada plate—both are satisfying and packed with authentic flavor. Their drink menu is also impressive, especially the margaritas, which come in several flavors and sizes. Whether you prefer classic lime or something more adventurous like mango or spicy cucumber, you’re bound to find something you like. They’re refreshing and well balanced. Not too sweet or overpowering. Service is usually attentive and efficient, with staff checking in regularly to make sure you have everything you need. Especially, salsa and chips. The atmosphere is upbeat without being too noisy, making it a good choice for families, date nights, or casual gatherings with friends. Overall, El Torito is more than just a place to grab a meal—it’s a complete dining experience. With its authentic flavors, festive vibe, and welcoming service, it’s a place I find myself returning to time and time again. If you’re in the mood for delicious Mexican food in a lively and colorful setting, El Torito is definitely...
