Let’s just say you get from your education what you put in ya know. I went to the Vet tech program in 2013-14. Met my best friends there that I still hang out with til this day. Still can walk into the campus and be greeted by Dean the program director who is amazing ! Passed my national and state exam first time but I can’t even tell you how hard I studied for those test. I got a job maybe 3/4 months after graduating and that with me going on countless interview i technically didn’t have working experience in the field, even though I was a RVT and that’s what most of the jobs where looking for but I didn’t give up. Ive worked in emergency for the pass almost 5 yrs, I’ve been an animal shelter clinic manager. Now it’s hard and fast pace so do your homework and show up to class ! Read morei have been here for almost 5 weeks by far the worst experience, for anatomy and physiology the teacher Dr.Marlow refuses to help,i asked for work to get my grade up he refused. I ended up getting dropped because i was off by 1% he refused to give extra work so just failed me Platt college is way to expensive like for teachers to just sit back and watch there student fail And for teacher to be rude when asked a question. They are getting paid but it bother them to do there job. Do your research before attending here!!! I went with a complain to the DEAN, KURT NELSON an he apparently did nothing at all,he covers up for the teachers especially if he is good friends with them,he was supposed to get back to me with a tutor and i NEVER heard back from him, when your enrolling they promise so much help and all this stuff but the help was actually denied to me when i asked, I don't understand how a person like "KURT NELSON" can actually be put in...

They will not tell you this ! This school is nationally accredited which means that they are a vocational school THATS IT. If you want to transfer to a university after you will not be accepted except for at usc and cbu ( cal baptist university) you can not sit for your cset or cbest teaching credintial after either . Best bet is to go to SJVC OR ACC there you CAN sit for all of your boards and become Registered & Certified . My biggest regret is not going to American...
