We are living in, quite possibly, the golden age of fried chicken. Though I don't have any hard facts, compelling numbers, or advanced analytics to give you, It just feels that way. Just look around you. The Colonel is still selling his secret recipe. Then you have Churches, Canes, and Chick-Fil-A practically everywhere. And lets not forget Popeyes, the focus of this review. The history of Popeyes is actually pretty interesting. If you have some time, I encourage you to google it. Succinctly, Popeyes started off as a different type of chicken place designed to compete against KFC. Copeland, the founder, soon realized that going after KFC was futile and did what most people should do; he closed his business down. But he didn't give up. He reassessed, reevaluated, and reinvented his restaurant leading to the Popeyes that we know today. From there, things got really interesting. Look it up. I recently had the three piece meal here, and my meal was excellent. The food, really speaks for itself. I also recommend their chicken sandwich, their sweet tea, and their Tuesday special. Check this place out!

A Louisiana-accented fast-food chain located on 4th Street, conveniently close to my residence. My frequent visits to this establishment are primarily motivated by their delectable offerings, including the signature chicken, tenders, ghost pepper, and boneless wings. Upon entering the restaurant, I observed that the interior was moderately clean, although I believe that the overall ambiance could be improved. Nevertheless, the exceptional quality of the food more than makes up for any shortcomings in the atmosphere. I must thank the hardworking staff at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen for their prompt and efficient service. Their dedication to providing a pleasant dining experience is truly commendable. In terms of pricing, I found the cost of the food to be reasonable, considering the generous portions and flavorful dishes that are served. Overall, I recommend Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen for anyone seeking a satisfying meal in a convenient location.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a Louisiana-accented fast-food chain known for its spicy fried chicken, biscuits and sides. This place is located in Vineyard Ontario Winery and very close to our house. We come here very often to buy SIGNATURE CHICKEN, TENDERS, and BONELESS WINGS. We always order the food at the drive-through, so we can’t say anything about the ambiance of this place. We love their food and we really appreciate all the workers for their hard work and prompt service. The price of the food is reasonable.

My wife and I came to Popeyes on September 23 2024 we came to drive-through we ordered the five dollar boxes that were supposed to have three pieces of dark meat in each box We asked for mix, but they said that this only applies to dark meat. We began to rave on how this particular restaurant location always takes good care of their people so when we came home and begin to eat our dinner along with our own sides that I prepared for my family we have a Nine year old son, My Wife and I today was very special because I was retiring from being on my job for 29 years at a major airline so today was very special we wanted Popeyes to celebrate but when My Wife opened up the box and begin to give out the chicken, she noticed that two pieces were missing so I told My Wife you guys go ahead and eat. I’ll go back up there and I’ll talk with the manager I’m sure things would be OK. It’s a 5 mile drive from Rancho Cucamonga. The part that I live at to Ontario. I get there and I begin to explain to the manager her name is Linda. She said she was the manager for the evening and that there is also a manager doing the daytime. There were four people in the restaurant when I begin to talk. Two Caucasians, one Asian man and one African-American woman all of them were nice. They were also buying chicken well. The manager named Linda said I don’t believe you she begins to laugh. I begin to ask her what is funny. She told me that you would have to go back home and bring the box of chicken back And show her the pieces and I said what I said, young lady I’m not going to drive 5 miles back to my house and then another 5 miles back here to your restaurant over two pieces of chicken first of all their customer service skills are not good. I’m here. I am retiring from a major airline as a serving my job for 29 years, which I believe we have the best customer service in all the world, but this young lady told me to my face that I was a liar told me that she didn’t believe me and that I would have to go and get the chicken that my family is eating. I told her I will report her to corporate. She told me go ahead and do so. I’ll write my name on the receipt and I’ll write my manager’s name that comes in the morning and they’re gonna tell you the same thing I’m telling you all this over two pieces of chicken. I could’ve squashed this conversation and say it’s not worth it But the way you deal with people I am an African-American man. I stand 6/3 320 lbs I have dreadlocks in my hair, but that should not make a difference. My wife is an RN nurse at a major hospital. She works saving lives But yesterday evening was very humiliating due to the people that were in the restaurant second heads and some of them laughing I did call corporate you cannot Talk to a live person in corporate. I tried the 877 number and only got a computer voice who prompt me to leave all my information and explain to them what happened I did so they prompt me and told me that I have to join their team then they were sending me out a $20 coupon on my next visit to their company when I contacted them back today 24 September they blocked me on their website. I can’t even get in to get the $20 coupon. I would never support a Popeyes chicken ever again in the United States until they train their people to treat people with respect to not treat people according to their contents of their character. Do not treat people because of the color of their skin and because they’re not in a suit, no one else is in a suit. It’s a shame that this young manager named Linda would treat me this way and is the same that corporate would block me off their website and not return any of my phone calls. I have taken this further. I have put this on Facebook. I have put this on Instagram. I have 5000 followers in each somebody will listen. What’s again my name is Eric and I would never and I would share this with my friends and family. Even my church. I would never go back to another Popeyes the way I was treated on yesterday. and I would never recommend anyone to go to this racist...

2/3/25 I wrote the review below too soon regarding the service. I returned for ghost wings a day after my previous order. A dude was working. When I entered he was emptying the trash cans and installing plastic bags. I waited and waited; he didn't speak to me for several minutes; then he said I'll be with you and continued with his cans. The next time I stop in and this guy is working, I'll likely leave. The ladies are the best; it's too bad this one jerk ruins the vibe and great service I received before.

2/2/25 This is a new review on this Popeyes location. My previous one almost a year ago was 1 star, as the service and food were horrible. SOMETHING HAS CHANGED! My wife and I have made 3 purchases in the last 2 months and the chicken has been GREAT! We request freshly prepared chicken, which they don't mind preparing if you're willing to wait 20 minutes for it to cook. The ladies are so efficient and the chicken has been very tasty...no burnt, old-oil taste. If you like Popeyes' recipe for fried chicken, this is the place to go. I'm just glad to have found a location that's at the top of its game, and if you can find coupons the pricing is quite reasonable. Hopefully, this location will keep up...
