I ate at Zeke's a couple of years ago when staying in the area during a move and I was impressed by the friendly service, delicious food, and large portions. I was in town again and decided to go back with my husband.
Though the decor is a bit kitschy, it conveys the prospecting origin of Zeke's. The story goes that Zeke was a prospector who cooked for teams of hungry miners and served up big portions for the hardworking miners.
The quality of the food has remained consistent, since the last time I visited anyway, with the same large portions and delicious taste. The large ham steak was big enough to share, perfectly grilled, tender and flavorful. The spinach and cheese omelet was enormous and full of spinach and melted cheese. Miner or not, the portions are satisfying.
The service was excellent with constant service without being annoying and though the prices have increased here, like everywhere else, the size of the portions make the value well worth it. There are few restaurants that have refused to skimp in these post-pandemic, high-inflation, supply-and worker-shortage times, but Zeke's has stayed true to its roots and maintains their high-quality standards.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Zeke's Eatin' Place, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu offers a diverse range of options, from classic breakfast staples to unique twists that cater to every palate.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Eggs Benedict paired with a side of fried bologna. This unexpected combination brought together the richness of the eggs with the savory crunch of the bologna, creating a memorable taste sensation. We also tried the mushroom and Swiss omelet, and it was a delightful medley of flavors that showcased the chef's creativity.
Beyond the delicious food, the service was impeccable. The staff's attention to detail and their willingness to accommodate special requests truly set Zeke's apart.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal that's not just satisfying but also an adventure for your taste buds. Kudos to Zeke's for offering a dining experience that's both comforting and innovative.
Enjoy your time at Zeke's, and don't miss out on the chance to indulge in their...
Read moreWhen arrival it was 8:30am, the place seemed a little busy but their were tables and a couple of booths. We waited less than 3mins to have a booth cleared by the window. Once we sat down we were asked by are waitress Brandi if we would like anything to drink. 2 coffees and 2 waters to start. She brought them out very quickly and asked if we needed more time to order. Since this is the first time I've been here im looking at the different reviews from yelp and google. I wanted to keep my breakfast pretty simple so i ordered 2eggs over easy, 2 sausage plate. It comes with a half side of hash browns and their biscuits and gravy. Brandi was excellent, she kept my coffee filled at all times and had a smile on her face while serving not only us but other patrons. When the food came out I quickly tried the biscuits and gravy since they are talked about in all the reviews. They were good. I did sprinkle a little bit of pepper to add it. The eggs , sasage and hash browns were flavorful. I do like how they have different creamers for the coffee. Overall I will be back tontey the many different items they have. Also if you have a chance to be served by Brandi you won't be...
