Food gets 4 stars because when we came in on a late Saturday morning, the only choices I saw was blueberry scones, chocolate croissants & a white chocolate chip lemon cookie. Also they were all out in the open air with nothing to cover or protect them from flies or anything else.
Service was good, but when we asked if we could have sugar for our coffee, the guy just kept saying Stevia was real sugar and that they didn't have anything else. This is the first coffee shop I've been to in my whole life where a barista didn't know the difference between stevia and sugar. Also the first time I've been to a coffee shop that only had one sweetener option available.
Atmosphere was nice... It wasn't too crowded when we were there, so it didn't feel loud.
3 stars for cost. It was $14.99 for a brewed coffee, a scone and a croissant... That seems high to me. So basically $5/item. I don't think a brewed coffee should cost as much as a customized coffee drink, yet more and more coffee shops seem to be charging almost as much for their coffee. Maybe I am getting old or just getting tired of getting nickled and dimed to death every where I go, but my brewed coffee at home gets more and more appealing to me each time I go to a pricey coffee shop. Eventually someone from the kitchen came out to tell me that they were out of the main ingredient in the sandwich. I asked to be refunded. Several minutes later the same person came out and talked to the two people in my group, who had ordered the same sandwich. The person from the kitchen explained that they only had enough of the main ingredient for one sandwich. Yup, that's right, they didn't have the main ingredient for my sandwich but they had enough for an order that was placed after mine. Like I...

The coffee is delicious! The cappuccinos, especially, bring out the delightful sweetness of the espresso, and the latte variants are amazing as well. Also, the cold brew is oddly satisfying to watch, since it's slowly brewed drop by drop on a Yama Tower.
This place isn't your traditional coffee shop, and it isn't intended to be, but again, it's amazing...
