Target — Local services in Opelika

I worked here recently and unfortunately I was not able to keep my job due to horrible communication and bad management. I had to have 2 ovarian cyst removal after a miscarriage i recently had.so I had to leave for a a couple of weeks for surgery within this 2 week processI continuously try to keep communication open so they know what's going on and I just kept getting the run around. I get my work release paper to go back to work because I have bills to pay . Target Is about a 45 minute drive from my home,, I have no gas money because they won't let me work.i went up there multiple times to the store and called multiple times. Talked to 4 different team leads and HR Just to get the run around again. I am now behind on all my bills, my car was repossessed, my registration was canceled, have no food in my home and couldn't try and get stamps or any help because I was in target's system. I love the company ,don't get me wrong. But everyone in that place should be ashamed of them selves, because if it wasn't for God I would be homeless because of target. I loved the job but everyone in that building should be fired while I struggle to find a part time job and make ends meet...

I'm trying to understand why Target deals & coupons are advertised, then after meeting the coupon requirement & receiving the giftcard advertised at checkout, Target is deducting that amount from my personal checking account WITHOUT notification. 🤔 this is the 2nd time this has happened. Why am I paying for my own giftcard? Don't bother advertising for it if you're going to bait & switch. I encourage everyone who has ever received a giftcard to double check your account to make sure you didn't pay for it your yourself

Also, I placed my order and i ended up running in the store for something else so I did my own pick up and took it to the service desk. The woman would not take my merchandise and she told me i needed to wait for one of their associates to get around to it. Seems like that's an unnecessary "hiccup" in the system that you can't just go in and cross off an order as complete if the items are right in front of you ready to go.

Also it's Hot As Hell in this store now. I don't wander anymore. I know global warming is happening and the powers that be do not care but the hot outside plus inside is a big determinant to browsing...

These get 5 STARS: Pros: several employees are TOP NOTCH!!!! Love love love most of the Starbucks folks! Miss the girl with really short dark hair!! 😩Service with a smile - even though they put up with non-empathetic bosses!!! The regular ol’ hourly people deserve so many atta-boys!!! There is one nice lady who may or may not be a supervisor- Susan. (I asked what her name was.) if she’s not, she should be!! also a thin dark haired guy - think he was called Abe - super helpful. Don’t know his role but he’s great.

1 STAR—- Cons: bathrooms are always a mess even though employee log sheet shows it’s been serviced. They have to send out regular floor staff to get buggies during the day because they don’t always schedule trained buggy guys till late in afternoon. A boss asked the only person working Starbucks why they hadn’t got stuff from the truck stocked yet - it was 9 AM, and Starbucks person said “I’m the only one scheduled from 7:30 to noon and I can’t leave this unattended.” The “boss” huffed - sighed loudly and walked off...
