I went to the salon. Mom of 3 kids, so anyone who has children, going to do something nice for yourself is basically unheard of. My husband wanted me to go in and get pampered. I was so excited, as again UHEARD of. The lady who did my hair sucked! My hair turned out awful. The left side is much longer than the right side. I feel as though my four year old would have done a better chop job with his round preschool scissors. I'm never one to get on and rate a company ever, but I would hate this to happen to someone else. The lady was so worried about getting off the clock she constantly checked the time, didn't leave the color in my hair half of the recommended time to do so. She kept checking her phone. She went as far as saying "good thing you wanted only one color, or I would have to reschedule you for later." Excuse me? I made an appointment with all that I wanted and was even given a total for my hair prior to coming. I'm sorry that your in a hurry to go, but I'm paying good money to be here, and the lady next to you doing hair seems to actually care about her clients and wants to be there, maybe you should have given me to her!!!! When washing my hair she soaked me. And my shirt. She didn't even bother to try to wrap my hair or to dry it, just slipped in my hand to hold on to while the rest of the water soaked my back. Awesome thanks!!! Then when she went to cut my hair, my entire left side (bangs included) look to be more than an inch shorter than my right side. Will NEVER return. I left crying as this was supposed to be a day of pampering instead I wasted over a hundred dollars for a horrible job, only to have to have someone else try to fix it tomorrow:( When another paying customer came in that she didn't plan on having, she rudely acted as if her day was ruined by actually doing her job....hair! She huffed and puffed and hurried through my hair so she could get to her next client, only making worse her hack job! Please don't go here. Find a nice salon that care about the clientele, especially enough to make sure they keep coming back. Hopefully you will read the reviews before going in and ending up in the...
Read moreThe employees were rude and seem to have very little knowledge about the products in the store. I recently relocated to the Auburn area and was looking for a place to purchase cosmetics and other beauty supplies. Being that the closest Sephora is 40 minutes from my house, I decided to give Ulta a try. Bad decision! I went into the store with the intention of purchasing all new cosmetics to match my now lighter skin tone as well as my hair products. Needless to say, I was planning to spend a pretty penny. My first stop was the section with the hair/nail products (yuk!). The lack of maintenance was terrible. The shelves were dirty and in disarray. The prices listed were incorrect and not up to date. It felt more like I was at the local Walmart than at a specialty store. Then came the less than sub-par customer service experience from the "beauty specialist". They were rude and seemed incredibly bothered that I had interrupted their hangout session to ask a question. I'm not sure if their lack of knowledge of the products was because they were clueless about what they were selling or if it was because they were bothered that they actually had to help me. When I got to the register, there was no one there to cash me out. I sat there patiently waiting for one of the associates to peel themselves away from their pow-wow to come take my money. I finally asked if someone could check me out and one of the girls said yes, but then just continued on with her conversation. Eventually a different associate came over and I was able to pay for my product. I will NEVER return. I would rather drive the 40 minutes to Sephora than return...
Read moreBeen going to Ulta for hair services for a while. Today I had an appointment but the stylist didn’t want to work. I get there and the stylist is walking around drinking coffee. She says I’m going to get you a cape, comes back without the cape, ask me what I wanted to get, I told her I get the same style and she is the only that does my hair, you would think she would be familiar with a regular customer. She takes so long to come back that the other stylist called for her over the intercom. Stylist comes back without the cape and or towel. She told me I didn’t need it because I wasn’t getting a color service. Wow who wants to get their clothes wet from a shampoo, not me!!! Long story short she didn’t want to work. Why style hair when ULTA are paying stylist hourly whether they are working or not. Going forward I’m changing how I do business with ULTA. Word of is going to kill their business. Totally...
