This was such a good brunch/breakfast that I will HAVE to make this once a month occasion.
I got the French toast platter or something or another and it was delicious. The French toast itself was absolutely smothered in sauce and some sort of cream cheese, and strawberry or red berry syrup/preserves with actual strawberries on the plate. The best way I can describe it is like a grown-up version of the strawberry toaster strudel absolutely divine.
The platter also comes with two eggs and I got mine fried hard, a biscuit with some raspberry preserve/jam on the side, as well as grits. On the menu it says the meat is the chicken sage sausage, but I was able to sub mine out for bacon and that was no issue, that could totally be done.
I unknowingly scarfed that French toast down. It was four fairly large, half triangle slices of bread. I also got a sweet tea and it was well done sweet enough, but not too sweet. And you do get free refills on that. For a brunch spot this was a very comfortable amount. Granted, I did not get any sort of alcoholic beverage, so that might’ve tipped the scales into a more affordable side of things. But I am MORE THAN satisfied with what I received.
My server was attentive and nice, as well as the other servers in the establishment seemed the same. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available.
And that does bring me to my first point of awareness is when I first walked in at 10 o’clock. They were already hustling and bustling so keep that in mind. I saw that they were quite full on the inside but I would’ve preferred that so I asked if I could sit inside. And the person who was sitting people at the door did let me know that it will be about a 5 to 15 minute wait and I could do text message notification and that was fine with me. I just walked around Party City until my table was available and I did take about 15 or so minutes. And keep in mind I was just a party of one, just myself.
The only other concern is that there is a good bit of ambient noise in the place in general. So I was trying to listen to some audio on my phone like a voice message, and I could not make out the words, but I feel as though, if somebody were sitting across from you speaking, you would have no issue. And that’s with speaking like with your inside voice.
All in all, I definitely plan to not only continue coming here, but to invite my friends, and possibly even having a brunch party with...
Read moreMy grandchildren and I decided to try this restaurant on Saturday, November 1, 2025, Unfortunately, it was not the experience we expected. We were a party of 3 adults and a 7 month old baby. We arrived at approximately 1:00pm and there was a slight bit of a wait. But, the weather was really nice so we requested to be seated outside on the the patio, We were abruptly and immediately told (by who we believe was the manager) "I'm not serving outside." We found that to be a bit confusing, since there were 2 ladies and their 2 dogs eating on the patio outside at the time of our request???
Nevertheless, we accepted a booth inside the restaurant. Our waitress Alicia was pretty fast in taking and providing our order, pleasant, and personable. We had 2 separate tickets - (1) 1 dirty bird, 1peach/mango waffles, 1 loaded potatoes, and (2) 1 Fried green tomatoes, 1 dirty bird, and 1 loaded grits (ticket #6827).
All of the portions were sizable EXCEPT for the $9.99 Fried Green tomatoes. There were 4 very, very, small thinly sliced tomatoes with a large dollop of cream cheese on top of each slice. When I questioned our waitress about the portion size, she stated this was the last order of Fried Green Tomatoes that would be served at the restaurant because they were being discontinued along with some other items. I'm not sure what that had to do with the $9.99 price I paid for a full order, but I truly felt like I was ripped off!! In addition, the only portion of my meal that was really worth what I paid was the "Loaded Grits" Overall $31.36 for a brunch that included 4 thinly tomatoes and average tasting food was a bit much!! Needless to say, this was my first and last visit to the...
Read morei want to start this off by saying that i rarely ever complain about service or food. i’m a server so i understand that bad food is not the servers fault but this was awful, service and food. server came to the table a grand total of 4 times. 1. to get our drinks and order 2. to drop food off 3. to check on us before i even had a chance to try the food 4. to drop off the check. first, the food was disgusting. everything was cold and dry. we barely ate anything, as a server, if you notice that your table has not eaten their food the proper thing to do is to ask them if everything is good, she did not. we sat with empty cups as well. it’s not like she was busy, we were her only table. it’s not like we came in close to closing, we came in at 12 when they close at 2. i’ve gone to restaurants before and they not give me as good of service as their other tables because i’m young and they automatically assume i won’t tip, but this was BEYOND bad service. she literally did not care about us at all. left us there until it was time to drop of the check. then, when she did drop of the check she hovered over us while i was counting my money i guess to ensure we tip her but she didn’t deserve a dime. i did leave her a few dollars but that’s simply because i’m also a server so i understand she only makes $2 an hour. i have never in my life tipped as low as i did but that was all on her. you determine your tip. why would i tip you well if you didn’t show good service? will not be back. this was horrible. included pictures of what we ate so you know i’m not lying, it was horrible. now i’m out $60 for food that was cold and service that wasn’t even worth a dollar. we didn’t take anything togo either. it...
