I do not normally leave reviews but, I feel like a little constructive critism might do some good here. The food and drinks were great, that deserves 5 stars. However, this resturant needs to be more efficient. Upon arriving we were told it would be a 30 to 45 minute wait which was fine, they do adverstise a wait list online. After about 30 minutes of waiting I saw there were atleast 5 or 6 empty tables. I assumed that they just didnt have the staff to accomodate all the tables as they remained empty as we continued to wait. After about 45 minutes of waiting we asked how much longer it might be and were told it would be just a few moments. We got the text 5 minutes later that our table was ready. So it was about a 50 minute wait. After we were seated several of the other empty tables were seated within a few minutes of us. We waited another 10 minutes before our server ever came over. We placed our breakfast order along with our drink order afraid we would never eat otherwise. We were brought waters, but I noticed two of the tables who were seated after us recieved their food before we even recieved our drinks. I understand that our server had to wait for the bartender to make our drinks but, it took a ridiculously long time. While dining I noticed many tables remaining empty far too long while there were customers waiting. I could understand this if there had been some large parties but it was mostly 2 and 4 tops. I dont know if they were just understaffed but, it didnt seem like it. They had atleast two hosts and several people bussing the tables. The food was really good and I had a strawberry mimosa which was fabulous. Our server was really nice and the rest of the staff was plesant. I just think the place needs to be a bit more efficient. Maybe hire more servers and if customers on the waitlist do not respond right away when called they should move on to the next person on the list. If you are on a wait list you need to be there waiting like everyone else. Also when customers wait for close to an hour to get a seat they should be waited on right away. Maybe they could have the host staff take drink orders or something. It was really unpleasant to wait that long and then have wait as long as we did for...
Read moreI talked my husband into trying this place out as I have heard amazing things about it, the young lady hostess was very sweet when we came in and put our named on the wait list,it was very busy we didn't mind the wait, once we were seated, it did take almost 10 minutes for our server to greet us , again busy, I get it. She took our drink order and we placed our food order at the same time since we had been sitting for awhile and knew what we were going to have. Drinks came out we were served water in a glass shattered all the way around ,no silverware ever came I had to get up and get it myself , our server dissapeared for a bit, maybe in the kitchen? My husband asked for a coffee a few times before she actually brought it to him, when the food came out the server was standing at our table informing us that they were out of hamburgers, which is what he ordered, as the person that brought the food from the kitchen slammed the tray down and startled not only usbut all of the tables around us. So we ate while my husband sat waiting for his food to be cooked. My daughter ordered the chicken bacon avocado sandwich, no bacon or avocado came on it, I asked for a manager since we all finished our food and my husband still hadn't been served , manager Corey came out dropped off his sandwich and said nothing. No apology nothing, server dropped off the bill, again no apologies, my husband said to take the sandwich off we were leaving since we were all done eating, and we weren't going to sit with a 2 year old in tow for another 20 minutes while he ate. I understand if you are put of something or there is a screw up in the kitchen, but apologize and try and make it right. As were leaving the hostess apologized and said it wasn't usually like that and that she was so sorry... she was the only person who even seemed to care. 2 of the 4 dishes we did get...
Read moreThe general manager (I didn’t catch his name, he was shorter, wore very flashy earrings, reddish brown short hair) was pretty rude. We had asked for a table for 6 and were told a wait of 25 minutes. We told the rest of our party that, and so they took that time to run an errand. The hostess ended up seating us only ten minutes later, so the rest of our party was not there yet when we got seated. The manager ended up coming over about 15-20 minutes later and asked us how much longer until our party arrived. We told him about 5 minutes. After we told him that, he proceeded to tell us their policy, that if our party was not there within 30 minutes, we would be forced to vacate the table, and that it had already been 30 minutes. Said that he already got on to the hostess about it, but that he would “give us” 5-10 more minutes and then after that he would put us back on the waitlist and make us give up our table. Again ALL of the reprimanding that the manager was giving to US THE CUSTOMERS was AFTER we had told him they would be there in 5 minutes. He A.) should not have been reprimanding us as customers when the hostess sat us down with only 2 of us being there, and B.) could have kept all of that speech to himself, threatening us that he was going to make us give up our table if our party was not there in 5-10 minutes. Like I said, we had told him they would be there in 5 minutes BEFORE he went into all that. And shame on him, because it wasn’t even 5 more minutes before the rest of our party showed up. Apparently he has a reputation for a nasty attitude because he has been rude to the rest of our party of a different occasion of them dining there. Sounds like he has a power...
