Read moreThis was the worst experience at a McDonalds I ever had in my 33 years of living. Went to McDonaldâs with my daughter to get some breakfast before Christmas shopping. I asked for an orange juice , hash browns and cinnamon roll for my daughter and an iced coffee and sausage McMuffin . I approach the window and meet Vatashia who gives my bag and iced coffee. I notice that we are missing an orange juice and politely informed Ms Vatashia. She proceeds to say that it wasnât on her screen. I tell her ok well I asked for it and the gentleman repeated it back to me may I order it now and pay. She tells me no I have to go back in line to order and pay. I never experienced this before and was surprised by her attitude and aggression. Iâm not a confrontational person so I requested a manager as it seemed she had a chip on her shoulder. She ignores me and continues on. Iâm waiting for the manager and she goes Are you just going to stand there and rolls her eyes. I said maâam Iâm waiting for the manager she goes Heâs busy sooooo. I then Ask for the name and she ignores me. I ask again and she tells Carl. I drove off and honestly wasnât going to write a review because itâs the holidays . But then I seen my daughters face and all that flew out the window. You know if thatâs the rules thatâs the rules but Gosh be a bit nicer to people be kind be understanding . I get you hate your job I get you rather be anywhere else then making sandwiches Vatashia but taking your attitude and frustration out on a mom and daughter just trying to have a good day is unacceptable. Do better Vatashia Do Better Carl Do Better...
Read moreI placed an order on the app. When I got there, they had replaced one of my items with a duplicate of the other without saying anything. When I asked about it, the cashier said âwe donât have that, I donât know why it let you order it.â I explained that then I only wanted the two items they did have, not a replacement for the third (I wish they had asked me rather than just trying to force me to take it but I was trying to be non confrontational). When I asked if I would get a refund for the third item (paid on the app), the cashier said âhopefully! Have a nice dayâ in an annoyed tone. I paused, wanting to make sure it was processed, and she repeated âhave a nice dayâ angrily/ making it clear she wanted me to leave. I didnât want to be a âbad customerâ so I left, hoping I could handle it online/through the app. It has been over a month, and despite submitting multiple online forms and making multiple calls to the customer service line, I still donât have a refund, nor was I ever contacted about the incident. I just wanted a refund for the item I didnât receive, which I think is fair. I like to think Iâve been respectful and kept this in perspective, but Iâm frustrated that something so simple was not handled better. Iâm embarrassed that I let her intimidate me, but I also donât want to be the jerk here. It isnât a lot of money, but I resent that McDonaldsâ bureaucratic lack of response is meant to wear me down into accepting the loss. Anyway, thatâs been my unfortunate experience with this...
