This is not my 1st time coming to this location, I’ve never had an issue until yesterday. I made an order to get my kids an ice cream Sunday, and ordered myself a kids Sunday with strawberries and pecans. I turned around to return the kids Sunday for a refund due to paying so much for something not worth it, it was one tablespoon of ice cream not even filling the container halfway that it came in, they charged $0.79 for literally 4 pecans, and $0.69 for strawberries. Expensive for no reason. The OWNER including the employee could not figure out how to give me a refund, ridiculous. So they Voided the entire order and asked me to repay for the rest of the items that I had originally ordered, what if I didn’t have the extra money seeing it takes time to reload to your account when refunded? Unprofessional. Should learn how to process a refund especially if your the owner. So then I get a receipt of the transactions refunded and repaid for. The receipt stated I ordered a Sunday with whipped cream as my free topping and charged for Oreo’s (when I NEVER HAD NOR ORDERED WHIPPED CREAM so the Oreo’s were supposed to be free). I instantly got irritated because I was not about to drive up there a 3rd time, so I contacted corporate and they stated they’d send it to the store because it’s franchise. She called the next day leaving me a voicemail that came off rude, unprofessional seeing your the owner. Saying I gave inaccurate information with an attitude instead of thinking maybe they mistakenly typed I had a blizzard instead of a Sunday, also with an attitude stating “I’m the owner that handled your refund and I don’t know why you even took it this far, also just so you know your complaints always comes directly to us at the store”. Clearly I knew that, let’s be adults here. I gave corporate the exact time I had on my receipt so they could see exactly what my receipt said. As a business owner please learn some class and when to apologize, I am also an entrepreneur and all of my family is as well no need to be rude when you are paid from...
Read moreI love this Dairy Queen and frequent it about once a week or more. On this trip however the experience wasn't there.
It was 2pm and they were busy, I'm totally fine with how long it took to move through the line, but it was the experience after ordering that sucked.
Get to the pay window and ask to upgrade our regular fry to large(.20 cent difference) Get quoted a new price almost $3 more. Reexplain to cashier what we want and she starts correcting it while taking 2 more orders after us while we just sit there.
We see our food finish being prepared and still haven't paid. The price she gave was still wrong so I asked for a receipt. She wouldn't give one without us paying. We payed and pulled to the second window.
There I let them know we were overcharged, only $1. They got a manager and I explained what got overcharged. $5 for two singles instead $4. She got snooty with me and said no, you got charged $5 for the doubles, they only charged you 4.98 for the singles...
I kindly inform her they are 2 for $4 and we are owed a dollar back. She gets an attitude and says she has to go do the math. 3 minutes later a different manager comes to the window with the $1.05 we were owed. No apologies just rude stares.
Yes, it is only a dollar. But if they take a dollar from every customers that's probably $200 in profit a day. It adds up.
If they would fix their order confirmation screen(which has been non functioning for at least 6 months) this wouldn't be a problem and people could confirm their orders.
All things considered, I am always satisfied with the quality...
Read moreSwung by the DQ drive-thru today for a quick treat and ordered my usual—with a pup cup for my dog, like I’ve done plenty of times before. Was told the total was $6.28. Then they asked me to round up for a donation. I politely declined. Easy enough, right?
Pulled up to the window, handed the lady my card, she hardly made eye contact then mumbled “that’s $7,” and closed the window shut so fast I couldn’t even react. I was literally mid-conversation with my husband saying, “Wait… what?”
Got my receipt—turns out they went ahead and rounded up anyway after I said no (great customer service), and also charged me $0.25 for the pup cup. Now look, I expected to get a small cup of ice cream like I’ve received at this very DQ before—nothing fancy, just a normal little portion. That’s what I’ve always gotten here and at other locations. But when I got to the second window, I had to ask for the pup cup, and then they handed me a ketchup dipping sauce bowl with an infinitesimal amount of ice cream inside.
I mean… really? Did I just pay a quarter for a sample size? Are the tariffs from China hitting DQ this hard, or is this some new luxury scoop we’re rationing? Starbucks hands out actual cups of whipped cream for free, and DQ’s over here acting like I ordered a side of caviar for my dog.
Honestly, it was the combo of being ignored, overcharged, and handed what looked like a toddler’s taste test that made the whole experience irritating. I’m not mad, just deeply unimpressed. Anyways, great ice cream,...
