Why did I wait so long to try Palermo? I’ve been missing out on amazing food for over a year since I heard about this place. When you walk up the front door is actually inside a lobby. They were decently busy for a Saturday evening. We had about 30 minute wait for two people. They do take reservations we found out. * I ordered the Churrasco Caprino with goat cheese and arroz con gandules. It’s skirt steak with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and a lemon butter sauce. This meal was perfection. The goat cheese just melted in your mouth with the steak. I actually wish I had bread to sop up the leftover sauce. The arroz was awesome. Reminded me of my Tía’s. I also got the passion fruit sangria which was really yummy. My boyfriend got the trio of empanadas, he chose beef and a side of the Alfredo pasta. He loved them both. The pasta was so good he ordered a second serving. He said its better than what we had in Bayamón. He drank a Malta. We got tres leches cake for dessert. I think it’s the best tres leches I’ve ever had. The service was outstanding! We can’t wait to come back! **All staff are wearing masks which I really appreciate! :)

My experience at Palermo Puerto Rican Kitchen was fantastic from start to finish. I went on a Friday night, and I am happy to say the place had a good crowd post Covid, but still plenty of room for eating. My party’s wait was very short which was a plus. The menu had so many wonderful choices, and they have a great web package to order take out, but this experience we dined in. The food was delicious. There were so many great items to try, but I decided to try the chicken. I know that may sound boring, but the owner came to my table and sold me on this dish. It was a stuff chicken which I normally would stay away from, but this chicken was fantastic. The chicken was so moist and the filling in the chicken was so savory. I also got beans, white rice, and plantains. One word….Amazing. This experience was done in November of 2021, so I’m looking to experience this place again soon.

I haven't had authentic Puerto Rican food this good since I left South Florida! The food was amazing and the service was fantastic! We ordered the beef empanada trio appetizer which was absolutely delicious. I didn't see the seafood empanada until we had already ordered the beef, but I will definitely try that one out on our next visit. For my entree, I had the stuffed chicken breast: a chicken breast grilled to perfection and stuffed with a savory yet mildly sweet plantain filling and topped with the lemon garlic butter sauce. I chose a simple green salad and arroz con gondules (rice with pigeon peas) as my sides and to be honest, I almost considered ordering an extra side of the rice just to take home and have again tomorrow because it was so delicious! We finished off our meal with a slice of their house made tres leches cake. I cannot wait to come back!
