First time coming to this eatery and overall it earned a 3 stars for me. The food earned most of the stars and unfortunately the service made the eatery lose the other 2 stars. The food is delicious. I had the Salmon Benedict with a lavender latte. The ambiance is nice, medium loud noise, and kid friendly. I did not get passive aggressive energy from the staff for having a child (this has happened before at other establishments). Now to the service: Our food did not come out together. We got one dish at a time with too much time apart between each dish arrival. Secondly, the SILVERWARE.... We didn't get any silverware for a solid 10 minutes after our plates had all arrived at our table. We asked the waiter for silverware and then I watched him come in and out of the kitchen multiple times without bringing us the silverware. He also told us they were washing the silverware and that's why it was taking long to get us some. RED FLAG - to the business owner: please have enough silverware to serve your restaurant at full capacity. I had to go to the front desk to beg for silverware before our food got any colder. sigh
Lastly, as I go to order a dish to-go I ask the girl at the front desk "is the birria Benedict actually good?" And she responded "oh that's so negative wow" and at this point I was like dang the staff here is really green because she should have never responded that way to me. Yes, I can ask your honest opinion on a dish and I shouldn't be shamed for asking questions. But whatever I gave them more money and ordered the birria Benedict to-go.
Takeaway, I encourage people to come because the food is delicious and I believe this restaurant has a very new staff that needs more training and experience to develop better skills in providing better service to customers. With plates averaging $20, service should have been slightly better. 3 stars with potential to be 5 stars. I hope this place becomes great. I hope this constructive criticism is...
Read moreToday I had a bad experience at this location, honestly I fell left out, I was waiting for my order for more than 20 minutes, orders after mine where called by the second, and mine was never ready, it was just a sandwich. I kinda felt discriminated, and the other persons were nurses, business people, etc. I'm just a regular person, I had gone to the bank and wanted to try their food, it looked good. Before ordering I heard the cashier telling the other girl, we need to make sure to have their food fast, most of them only take 30 mins lunch. I told myself, hey, that is good customer service, however, the outcome was different, I understand the process, all I'm saying is they need to treat everyone equal and don't favorite customers by their title or working at the same building, I just wanted to share my thoughts on this, because even after requesting my refund of my order and not getting my food, Ever, the cashier did't care for me waiting that long and gave me an excuse about...
Read moreThis is a great local place to eat. Staff are very friendly and patient. This place is very popular, most likely with the workers in the building and adjacent businesses. Came here with my coworkers for the first time. Felt so bad because I felt like we overwhelmed them with our order for 8 people during lunch hour. But they were so great, patient, and the food came out so good! We really enjoyed our team lunch there. We didn't realize we had to last for parking in the lot next to them. I think we spent $9 to park there. But this shouldn't deter you from this place. Really enjoyed the staff. So sweet and accommodating. The food was very delicious- we ordered various things like salads, sandwiches, and burgers and fries. All were very good....
