Chin's Kitchen — Restaurant in Orange

I'm awarding this place two stars. The food had a stale taste, as if it had been left out for too long. They really disappointed me today, 11/10/2024, at around 4:00pm. I ordered Orange Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken. When the cook added freshly prepared Orange Chicken to the serving tray, the server scooped from the bottom, not the fresh top portion, which was concerning to me. Also ordered Tereyaki Chicken, again with a fresh one being on top the server grabs the bottom one which looked to have been sitting there fía while and she gave me like the burnt ends , just horrible service to be honest with you. I’m so mad I didn’t say anything! I chose not to comment and let it slide. The same happened with the vegetables; they appeared aged and unappetizing, but once again, I said nothing. Only minutes after completing my purchase, the same server brought out a new batch of vegetables. I thought she might just layer it over the older ones for the next customer, but to my surprise, she discarded them. The very ones she served me earlier. I regretted my silence, feeling frustrated for spending $40 on subpar food. This review is being written in the hope that it will prompt an improvement in both service and food quality. The food reeked of stale chicken and garbage. I urge others to avoid this place. You're far better off at Panda Express, but steer clear of this establishment’s terrible food and service! You’re going to serve me old veggies and 2 minutes after I awaiting change you throw out the veggies you just served from the same tray? Ridiculous! The food has this smelly old garbage taste to it. Just tastes like queso cotija! I hope yall fix...

I've been coming here for a few years. Originally it had one section that served Mongolian BBQ of which they close that down. I wish they still had it. And of course their wonderful selection of Chinese food! The courtesy free soup or egg roll with every combo doesn't hurt either.

I've been here a few times and dined in but what I love about this place is that it has a drive-thru. No other Chinese restaurant, fast food or otherwise has a drive-thru that I know of. How fortunate and convenient is that? And the food speaks for itself it's wonderful. The service has always been excellent. They've gone over and above and exceeded my expectations. Always making sure to provide me with the right amount of condiments or asking me if I needed anything else, always having a friendly smile and being very polite and helpful. Not every Chinese fast food restaurant has a restroom available for use and they do but it's only for customers of course.

The prices of course went up which I wish were a little bit more reasonable but that's the same with everything else, everything's gone up everywhere ever since COVID hit it seems prices just increased everywhere and never went down. I only had one mistake in my order just recently but they corrected it quickly and righted their wrong. Hey we've got to show everybody some grace, who doesn't make a mistake every once in a while. Right?

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had, everything tasted the same, the rice was hard the noodles were mush the orange chicken was solid batter, the chicken what there was of it was DRY, the egg rolls were dripping with oil and nothing but cabbage inside , when I tried to complain they acted as if they didn't understand English, unbelievable! They were rude and offered no refund or an apology. If the world came to an end I would rather starve to death than eat their food! Biggest waste of money I've ever spent, we went down the street to Green China, for the same amount of money we we had the most fabulous dinner, even included soup salad and perfectly cooked rice. Next time when you feel like chinese drive down the street for much better everything! Also they had no public restrooms to wash your hands or vomit the food from Chins a great big...
