We visited around 3pm and the place was pretty slow which is to be expected. I'm typically not a fan of the menu at Dennys, but at first glance we were quite pleased to see a much more robust menu with food that sounded appealing.
About five minutes after being seated we ordered our drinks. The waiter still hadn't come by, but the guy that seated us was happy to get our drinks. Ten minutes later we ordered the food and a new drink for myself and our daughter. She was getting one of the nice take home cups that look like a cupcake, it was to be milk. The waiter refused to accept that we wanted milk in the cup and not chocolate milk, but it was resolved after saying milk a few times.
Ten minutes later and asked if our daughter was having apple juice. We said no... Milk. He apologized saying he was lost.
About 35 minutes later our food arrived, sans our daughter's side of apples and substitute of sausage for the bacon. My wife's side order was wrong too, but we didn't care to wait any longer for it to be fixed. I'm fairly confident I could have driven to the store and bought then cooked the food before we received ours. It can't possibly take that long to cook simple eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc... Things that are commonplace at a Dennys. Our two meals were obviously left to sit awhile after being prepared, as the top piece of bread was nice and grilled while the bottoms were a soggy mess. Our daughter just had pancakes, eggs, and sausages. Takes no more than five minutes to prepare.
In the end, we never got a refill on our drinks nor our check. When we eventually went up front to pay, he was curious where our check was. After he got it from the waiter, we handed him our coupon. As a nice finish to our experience here, he tried arguing that our coupon was out of date. The coupon had more than a month left and he grudgingly accepted it.
TL;DR Terrible service. Slow food left to sit before brought....

At the 25th minute we get seated. We got a standard 2.5-3-person booth. We preferred a table, but we are told there was none available. The bench is low, and the distance from bench back to the table is =/
Read moreCame in after going to the ER at about 3am. I wanted breakfast and ordered the platter and biscuits with gravy. The biscuits and gravy were fine but my platter was not only cold it wasn't what I wanted and I had asked for substitute eggs and she says the platter comes how it's on the menu. Then when I asked her if she could at least well done my hashbrowns because they were cold and soggy after sitting for probably hours. She gave me a nasty look walked away and muttered something along the lines like "this guy isn't going to pay in Spanish", I was astonished at how ugly of a person she was. I told her I wasn't going to eat the platter and just pay for what I ate. Which was the biscuits and gravy. I only had $100 on me which was why I was getting a meal to eat to get some change. And she was like, "I don't have change for that don't worry about it just leave it's going to come out of my pay anyways". I refused and paid for what I ate with my card. This thoroughly killed Denny's for me, plus IHOP's...
