Johnie's Jr Burgers — Restaurant in Orange

Upon reading the reviews, I read the one about the person requesting a refund after watching their prepared food sit on the counter ready to be served for 20-30 mins, while the girl working tended to everything BUT the customers who's food was ready....and I thought to myself, gee dramatic much? Then I thought ehh, that was probably a one time thing. Let's go check this place out!! Food reviews are good, pics look yummy, prices are reasonable. So upon convincing the family, we arrive, order our food and go sit to wait. 20 mins passes and my father notices plates of food literally stacked on top of each other just sitting in the pass. He waits 5 mins. The girl continues making a pot of coffee and slowly folding an empty box. Mind you there's two tables of people eating and now 3 more people waiting to order. Guy behind asks me "is she new?" I said I don't know, this is our first time here. My dad attempts to get her attention and asks for our food that's slowly decomposing. Nothing! She completely ignores him and keeps her back turned. A minute or two passes, and I attempt with the same question. She ignores me as well. The girls literally 2 ft away from me at best. If she turned down the blaring music in the back, maybe she could hear her customers. She finally acknowledges that the food is ready, while still completely ignoring us. Takes another minute or so to put up food for someone who wasn't even there. Then finally hands us our now cold and stale (toast) food that's been sitting at least 10 mins. Food was mediocre at best. Based off other reviews I really wanted to like this local "gem" but wasn't impressed by the food or service. Best thing I could say is the prices were very decent compared to other diners here in Orange. Not sure if this girl is family to the owners, but she could definitely do with some customer service and multi tasking classes and/or training. Clearly we're not the only ones who have had issues with her. Now I digress... moral of the story we won't be going back. But if you go, I hope your experience is...

My boyfriend and I really like this place. I usually get a chicken sandwich, burger or the 3 ground beef Tacos plate. My boyfriend will mix it up and try more of their menu haha, I just try whatever he gets because I know I won't order some things on my own haha. He just got the fried chicken dinner and it was DeLiCIoUs. I'm only giving 4 stars because 3 times now the Taco meat was dryer than dry and salty. I'm not sure why but they are not usually like that, which is why i will order them again. Also, the last two times in there we walked in and placed our order, our order being the second ticket on the order board. At least 5 people called in their phone orders and came to pick them up before we received our order. Well if I'm there and my order is placed first, my order should come out before a phone order that was placed 5 to 10 minutes after my order. Went from being the second ticket on there to being the last on there and all we got were 3 tacos, a burger and chicken strips. I do love this place, i do do do and everyone should try it, I'm sure they have something for everyone to love. Just please work on the order of which you prepare orders. Not fair to make someone wait just because someone else called in a phone order, I'm waiting just like they are and if they walked in after me, their food would be made...

Horrible service! Ordered take out. The girl was more concerned about the dine in food. As she was preparing the take out food, a dine in order would come up and she'd stop on the take out to take the dine in to the table. There was a bunch of take out I saw being ignored. Finally after about 20 minutes I ask for my money back. She asked me what I ordered and then said "Oh, here it is right here" like she was wondering what it was there for. It had been sitting there for at least 10 minutes outside the area they keep the food warm where she had placed it. I don't want it I said and got my money back. Horrible service and attitude, she couldn't care less. Do not recommend this place. Too bad, food is good but staff...
