TROPICAL VIBES DAIQUIRIS — Restaurant in Orange

I do not know or can figure what the problem with the woman that was on shift this evening at that place. I planned to have a daquiri drink to chase My shrimp and chicken from Mr.Burger on 10th and Park street. Before going get My dinner I tried to stop by Tropical Vibes in the drive thru, there was only one car leaving the window at that time and the woman made a gesture of throwing up her hands making a circle that gave the impression of "Oh,Here comes this Customer" So I drove right on through the drive thru. I thought if I go get the food first and try back afterwards. As I am driving up to the shop to park to go in for a drink. She makes a second gesture to a man at the counter by putting her hand to her head in the same manner of the gesture saying "Oh,Here he comes" I get out to find out what is the problem with My shopping here for a beverage. It was played off on what I witnessed her doing both times in the bad gesturing. I asked for the Owners number to complain directly about this misunderstood business. I believe that I have been a good supporter of this local Black Owned operation especially after opening on Mondays. I do not have to Force My Money into Your business. I will choose to go to Vinton or Port Arthur for better sense of Treatment to Me as a Customer. Or some competition will finally move back into this area of...

This review is for the #2 Mauriceville location and is only about the food as I don't drink. The food is fantastic! We had been told by several to try it out and since we don't drink didn't try it thinking since they specialize in drinks, the food couldn't be that good. Boy, were we wrong. The shrimp boil in a bag was the best shrimp boil I've had in a long time and I am picky. Everything was seasoned well and so juicy. The fried shrimp and fish was great and spiced just right. The fry on both was just the right amount of crisp without drying out the fish and shrimp. The fries were seasoned and perfect. We had one person in our house trying to get everyone's. My daughter had the cheese burger and said it was incredible. She got one 2 days in a row in was soo good. The only small negative is the hushpuppies need some work. They were too small and way too dense. They were hard fried on the outside and not quite cooked on the inside. However, everything else was soooo good it was easy to overlook.
