I think my pleasant experience for this cafe stems from not having any expectations. Perhaps I subconsciously made preconceived notions that this is just another cafe.
Whatever the case, we came in with little children and first impression was the strong A/C, bright lighting and complimentary colors of the wall and furnishings.
Cafe is nicely decorated and not tacky at all, bathroom had a diaper changing station, which was a HUGE plus.
Regarding food and drinks: Their burritos were big enough to split between my wife and I. I do eat a lot, so I actually ate bacon, eggs and a chicken bowl at home before eating at this cafe. Still, I think half a burrito would be a sufficient amount of food for most people. It came with some green cilantro sauce served on the side. I poured the whole thing on my half of the burrito.
Tater tots and Vern tots both were delicious. Crispy on the outside where you can actually hear the crunch when you bite into the tots. Vern was a pile of delicious cheese and bacon bits on top of the tater tots. Like I said, I eat a lot. This was my jam! Doused it with ketchup and I went to town.
Drinks were also well crafted. I can usually tell a good cafe by simply their black coffee and this one was made with care. Wife got a latte with foam on top.
Overall: Great experience, great food, great for the kids, and honestly, though the location is sort of stowed away in a random plaza, it makes it less crowded. I'm not sure if that's good or bad haha.
Will definitely return back. Already will recommend to friends and family. I hope this...

Read moreI tried the OG breakfast burrito from here and I would not recommend at all. Price wise it’s pretty standard for a breakfast burrito in Orange County at $16
First they tried to cut the burrito in half but barely got enough as to score it leaving a gash in the middle which did not allow me to eat it like a regular burrito and I had to cut it where the score was but since it was not cut thru all the way half of the insides spilled out.
The biggest issue I had with the burrito was the taste and texture. The cheese tasted curdled and watery not sure if it was mixed with some raw/undercooked egg but the cheese had a grainy texture in some part and watery in others. Since it was in the burrito throughout it made it inedible.
For a place that primarily sells breakfast burritos I am hesitant to try any of the other burritos maybe if you order it without cheese it...
