I thought the Superior Court was to serve its people, but turns out I had a really negative experience when dealt with it and its staff.
I went in to fill out a writ of execution form, which the front desk lady gave me and yellow marked the areas that need to be filled out. When I completed it and turned it to the collecting window ran by a different team, I was told that the yellow marked form was unacceptable--even though it was done by their own front desk, and I had to filled out again.
So I did and brought the second submission to the window and was told that a particular piece of info needs to be revised, and I need to fill out for another time since they won't certify a form that's been revised---They didn't even look through the first form when they told me to re-do the second one.
When I completed a third one, they found another "error" that they didn't find in the 1st or the 2nd check, and I had to fill out a 4th one......and they tried to push me back to the front desk each time to get a new form when they can just use their printer to print out new forms.
Despite their careless working manner that caused me triple times of work, their attitude indicated that it was totally ok to push me over and over again like a ping-pang ball. I spent 3 hours to fill out the forms 4 times & wait in line to be checked & 4th one stamped...It felt exactly just like a bad punishment that I went through, really, really uncomfortable &...
Read moreHorrible experience ever. This place is so unorganized and all over the place. I filed for a divorce almost 2 years ago and have been on the final stage for the past 6 months. I have had to make numerous trips back and forth because the court claimed they never received my paperwork, on 3 different occasions, even though I had copies. I had been to the self help Center over 10 times and told 6 different times that the person that previously helped me gave me the wrong information and instructions to file. Then, which one was right? After filing the same paperwork 4 different times, I now await the judgment to be sent back to me. It's been 6 months now, every time I go in and ask the status I just get the run around and told that they are still working on July's cases. This same thing was told to me back in September when I asked, again in November and again in January. This must be something the employees are told to say. I find it hard to believe that 4 months later they are still working on July cases and if so there is something wrong with this system. Something...
Read moreIF YOU ARE TAKING DRIVING DIRECTIINS FROM GOOGLE!!! READ!! Google maps will direct you to the middle of the intersection in front of the "Theo lacy" facility, and that is almost where you want to be! (The jail listed on the sign, not the middle of the intersection where Google just left you high and dry!) In my post on this place I took a pic of the sign listing every court related building excluding the one you are looking for. Also it should be noted that LAMOREAUX JUSTICE CENTER IS NOT WHERE YOU NEED TO GO TO GET OR FILE ANY PAPERWORK ESPECIALLY GOR FAMILY COURT, OR IN DIVORCE MATTERS! I know the site says opposite, but do it their way and see for yourself if you think I'm a liar. Lastly: park at the Krispy Kreme and just walk a block, why give the system another penny of your hard or not hard earned money? Damn the...
