I recently tried the Chicken Gyro from Shah's Halal Food in Orange, Connecticut, and I have to say, it was a major disappointment. I purchased it about an hour ago, and the experience was nothing short of frustrating. The gyro was a mess – the chicken and other ingredients were scattered all over the place, making it extremely difficult to eat. The presentation was poor, and the components didn’t stay together at all, which made for a very messy and unpleasant meal.

Very cool dine-in or take-out restaurant. You can order from a variety of options and select toppings and sauces you want (almost like subway setup). There is plenty of seating and I really thought it was nice to have the one long table set up for larger parties. The food was on point. I had a falafel gyro with everything! The sauces were very exciting and their signature white sauce lived up to expectations. The green sauce was very good, herby and thin. The red sauce definitely had some kick to it although subtle. My husband got the combo meat platter over rice. Very enjoyable atmosphere and pricing was very reasonable!
