NOT kid friendly location. Lots of homeless and people loitering outside who looked addicted to drugs. But somehow the problem was a 2 year old baby. Staff behind the counter looked like they didn’t want to be there. We were approached by someone we assumed was the manager and were asked to leave because our friend’s baby was a little fussy. First ever I’ve heard of a Starbucks kicking out customers with babies. (Terrible form) And terrible customer service skills. Only accomplished to make more room in the lobby for non-paying customers. Great job! We would’ve purchased food next to help the kids stay calm. (It was around dinner time and we were also starting to get hungry) Maybe your manager needs sensitivity training, or any kind of training so they can lead their team to watch for and take advantage of these customer service opportunities. No warning. Just please leave. Instead of offering something helpful (like stickers) or suggestive selling something that might interest the little ones - just about any alternative would’ve been better form. We picked the wrong Starbucks to catch up...
Read moreI had not been to this location in a long time simply because I don't live, work, or shop in the area on the regular. I was in the area and walkednin, was greeted immediately by friendly Baristas, and my order was taken. I popped into the restroom while I waited for my order to be ready- it was nice and clean. I find bathroom cleanliness important for places I visit because it gives me an idea how much they care about cleaning food prep areas as well.
Anyhow, midway through my trenta sized iced peach green tea lemonade with light ice, I stopped to write this! It is delicious and sorry.... not so photogenic. I'll post pics on the next visit.
As I was leaving I noticed a cute bookshelf filled with various books for all ages. It is a take one leave one kind of thing. I happened to have a stack of kids books in my car so I ran out and grabbed them and put them on the shelf. I find those things pretty awesome really.
Overall awesome experience at...
Read moreI don't know what has been up with Starbucks lately, but it just seems to be getting worse and worse. We had just come back from a long biking trip to buy a tire repair kit and had spent the last of our money on that. We just needed some water and to borrow the bathroom but was denied because we needed to purchase something in order to do those things. The bathroom I get that it may be for customers only but water? Every other Starbucks I had went to always provided free water I had recently caught an illness and should be resting but my tire popped and I needed to buy a new one and didn't have the funds for it so I got a repair kit. It was tiring, and water was something that I would've really enjoyed and would've helped a ton with my headache, but unfortunately, I had to go to another place further down, which provided great and better survice. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore Starbucks, but it hasn't...
