I typically recommend Target to my friends and my family because it is a place you can get everything at one time. The stores seem to be somewhat organized and you can do all your shopping in one store. My score is a 7 only because recently I have noticed two things that have bothered me about Target. One, the sale sections is very unorganized. Which is what you get at most stores but I always remember Target having a more organized sale section than most stores but not anymore. Two, prices vary from Target to Target. I have visited about 4 Targets the last month. I am working on my baby registry so I tend to stop at a Target anytime I have the time around my work or my house. I have noticed that the what is on sale at one Target is not on sale at the other. I saw a baby item for 50% off at one Target and then the next day at another Target full price. This bothers me a lot as a Target consumer because I thought I was getting the best deals at my local Target and it turns out I am not. Also, this will potentially create MANY issues with my baby registry. If I get a gift from someone I wish to return I am going to get the lowest price which might exist at a Target that my item was not purchased at so I will get the lowest exchange amount. So I do not like the idea that such a huge cooperation does not keep all prices equal across the board to make things fair for everyone shopping at any Target. Therefore, my score is...
Read moreI was in Target this afternoon trying to purchase a Verizon cell phone and what the different plans are. The Target employee was very nice to me, BUT a gentlemen wearing an all black uniform I later found out to be a T-Mobile employee interrupted our conversation and told the Target employee "You have a real customer who actually wants to buy something and is waiting for some help in the back. I think you should get over there now" I over heard the T-Mobile employee say this and was outraged as how this person could have the audacity to say this about a customer right in front of the customer. I complained to the store manager who also thought it was foul, and will follow up with the regional director as well. To add insult to injury I am handicapped and need the help as I am wheelchair bound and cant walk for long periods of time. I will be boycotting this Target, and it is a shame because I use to shop here all the time. The reality of it is this T-Mobile employee is on Target property and is representative of Target and it Is the responsibility of Target for ANY employee be it contracted or salaried to be polite, respectful of ALL customers regardless of whether they work for Target or not. The guys name who works for...
Read moreWe frequent this target. I am a nursing mother and they have what they call a “nursing room”. It’s a larger try on clothes room with a chair in there. If you’re going to offer a nursing room to mothers, then do it. Be about it. If not, they don’t have one. No hand sanitizer station (anymore) or even a small changing table. Instead they tell you to use the one in the bathroom which 1, is super loud and 2, they’ll tell you to use the single stall bathroom located in the back by the video games and it’s always disgusting. I don’t think I’m asking a lot for a small changing table in the “nursing room”. I was in there one time and a male employee kept knocking and shaking the door while I was nursing. I finally had to tell him what I was doing. They saw me walk in there with a baby and I felt it rude and distracting while trying to nurse my baby. I am grateful they have a space for nursing mothers but they really should listen to moms with babies about what should be in there that would be helpful.
Update Aug 2025: they have updated the changing station. Bathroom is still disgusting....
