First time actually visiting this newly opened Blaze location and I must say I was less than impressed. I couldn’t count my real first time driving by when they had the $4 pizza special and the line was around the block. I looked and just left. This particular time, I was enticed by a $5 off coupon through their mailing list. So I put in my order for two pies at 6 PM, for it to be ready at 7:15 PM which was exactly when I will be done at the gym across the street.
I got here at 7:13 on the dot and was a little confused on where I should pick up. Online directions made it seem like there’s a designated cashier or check out I needed to go to for online orders. It ended up being the same single cashier that appears to be overwhelmed by the dinner rush. I wait for her to finishing ringing someone out, then asked about my pizza awkwardly while trying not to interrupt the next customer waiting to be ringed up. My order was supposed to be ready at 7:15 PM, It is 7:17 PM, she said it will be coming right up and I gave her benefit of the doubt.
7:25 an entire line of customers had their pizza paid for and made in front of me. I go up to the cashier again and ask her where my pizza is for the second time. She walked around looking for a sheet of paper and seemed a little frustrated with the “oven guy”. She came back and offered a drink for my troubles. Not needed, but appreciated.
7:35, still no pizza. Pretty much last of that dinner rush is already taken care of. I’m here questioning myself as to why even go through this “online ordering” system when its faster to just order on the spot and wait through the line? I ask again, and sure even they found my actual order which fell beneath another pile of paper. I saw my pizza go in the oven. They hustled, forgot to put drizzle or my “special request” for ranch on the side.
7:40 much to my dismay, I finally get my pizza. Yet again I question as to what is the point of online ordering? Clearly this place requires better management. It appears that no one was in charge. Also look to Chipotle on how they process their online orders. I never had a problem with getting it almost half an hour late.
Yet again, no fault of the employees. Just no management at this location during the time I was there. Or better handling of online...
Read moreUsually love blaze pizza. Last visit was a nightmare. Placed order through the app evening Feb. 13th. Come in looks like pizzas will be ready more or less on time. To their credit the place was super busy.
But area where they cut pizza was messy oven had stuff fallen off other pizza burning. Pizzas are ready no sight of garlic knots. Ask gift behind counter if knots will be ready at the time. Blank look at me... walks over reread order. Then slowly proceeds to put knots in the oven. No appologies. Same thing happened to customer ahead.
At last knots are ready, she is not sure if I have right pizzas so I double checked. I get home opened garlic knot box (she threw them at big pizza box. I saw her drop one on counter pick up and put in box. The same was happening with pizzas when she was putting them in boxes).
My surprise missing garlic knots. I tried to call customer service. It was a joke. I guess customer service calls the store relays the message then talks to restaurant or customer. So between each reply I was put on hold for 5 minuted.
First restaurant claimed that they didn't do order like mine. After I provided order number and 13 more minutes on hold. I was informed I am welcome to drive back to restaurant to pick up garlic knots they forgot to put in box. When I said that it's not acceptable and that I just want my money back, customer service representative couldn't reach store. She said restaurant just choose not to respond since they can see that it's customer service line calling.
Submitted complain online. No response. Bummer really liked their pizza but can't imagine...
Read moreWe've been coming here for awhile, the food is good but the management and employees have some work to do. It's the feeling that it wasn't just a bad experience with one employee, it's usually all of the time. The employees are generally rude and rushed and because it seems to always be a problem it leads me to believe it's an owner/manager issue. We drove to Orange and visited the place at 8:50 on March 31st (consequently the last day of their pi promo). We approached the doors and one of the employees had locked the incoming door so customers weren't able to enter the building - their store hours are until 10pm. We thought it was a mistake so we waited for a customer to come out and then entered and approached the counter. The employees rudely told us they would not be able to help us because they had to-go orders to do and that's why they locked the door and said we could leave. I honestly couldn't believe it, I was willing to wait 10-15 min but that wasn't offered, nor was a coupon or anything of the sort to visit again when they were able to serve us in the future. The management team at this location is completely inept for dealing with situations like this in a professional manner, I am an understanding person and there are ways this could have been handled much more professionally. Also, no one has ever reached out after an inquiry, so that tells you how...
