Worst Starbucks experience I’ve had. First, we waited a solid 3 minutes at the register before we were even greeted. This was our order: 5 drinks, 1 order of egg bites, one blueberry scone, 1 egg sandwich. We already pay a lot for mediocre coffee basically because of fast friendly service and specialty drinks. The cashier tried to overcharge my Americano. She blamed it on increasing prices but when she re-rang it up it was a dollar cheaper. They served me my “hot” americano at room temperature, so they had to remake it. I’m not talking luke-warm coffee, I’m talking like the temperature of coffee after the coffee pot has been turned off for hours. I’m still trying to figure out how that happened when an Americano by definition is espresso shots and hot water. It makes me wonder if they were short-cutting and tried to serve me drip coffee instead. The barista who made it didn’t apologize, just acted like she was put out and said ok she’d remake it. There were 7 workers and it still took a good 25 minutes to get our order. Drive-thru was steady, but there was no line. The inside had three sets of people, so also not busy. After our drinks we STILL had to wait for them to heat up our food. Did i mention there were 7 workers? Oh, not to mention they were out of oat milk, peppermint flavor, and the spinach wrap. The only friendly worker was a male who apologized and worked hard to fix our order. The others were disorganized and air headed. We frequent other Starbucks a lot. I’ve had to wait a while when they were busy, but never had...
Read moreIn my myriad caffeinated adventures, from quaint Italian espresso bars to the bustling cafes of mom and pop small coffee shops, there's a unique joy in discovering that familiar green siren as one crosses into the vast expanse of Texas. This particular Starbucks serves not just as a pitstop but as a harbinger of the comforts and flavors to come.
The ambiance inside exudes that classic Starbucks warmth, a blend of contemporary aesthetics with a touch of Texan flair. My palate was delighted with a slice of their sumptuous lemon loaf—a zesty, sweet delight that paired impeccably with the rich, velvety notes of an Americano decaf. A combination, I must add, that mirrored the blend of the familiar and the new that this Starbucks embodies.
However, every symphony has a slightly discordant note. Here, it's the drive-thru intercom system. The staff, ever so diligent, seem to grapple with its capricious nature, often mishearing orders. But, considering the sheer delight of the overall experience, it's a minor hiccup in an otherwise flawless performance.
In a landscape as vast and varied as Texas, this Starbucks stands as a beacon of familiar comforts, with just a hint of adventure. A solid five stars, for even amidst minor challenges, it encapsulates the spirit of a...
Read moreI went through the drive thru which was long line moving slowly. I also ordered a Venti sized Carmel Frappuccino with whip, when I finally got to the windows it was smaller than a Venti. I asked is that a Venti she said no. I said I ordered one. She said we'll I can redo the charges and charge you for one then make one. I said no I'm not going to cause the people behind me to wait any longer in this heat they might jump me and laughed she said OK then here is your Frappuccino and closed the windows. I know they were busy and it was extremely hot but I didn't do anything wrong or at least I don't feel I did and for her having a bad day maybe is understandable but it isn't OK to take it out on me the customer when all I was doing was asking about the size. I thought maybe they changed the sizes or something. I habnneve received bad or unpleasant service at this location. I think it was just a bad day. If it doesn't happen when I decide to try the location again I'll...
