The service is always friendly and food is amazing

UPDATE:

We went this evening and not near as happy when we left. I'm not going to nit pick and be that person because people have "off days", but some things should be addressed. The waitress messed up parts of everything, from drinks to the food. Drinks....soda, water and 2 margaritas...were incorrect or left on the bar to melt. One food order wasn't put in with the rest, and she didn't seem to notice that someone wasn't given a plate. She just said enjoy and turned to leave. When I asked about the missing food, she said I didn't order it and it will be out shortly. We had to change it to to-go. No apologies were said or anything done to try to end dinner on a more positive note. It sort of felt like she couldn't remember or maybe she would forget something but wouldn't ask us for clarification. We have been going there since they opened and never had anything besides a great experience. Hopefully they can get things back on track because they really do have great food and atmosphere. Apologies really do...

This was such a disappointing experience. I love Mexican food and recently moved to Orange, TX and wanted to give this place a try. I will give a fair warning to everyone, just keep driving by. The food is overpriced, disgusting, and small portions. The online menu does not give accurate costs, so expect each item to be more. I ordered over the phone for pickup and they said 5 minutes. That is near impossible for fried fish and a fried chimichanga. I can tell you, this food is prepared before serving. The refried beans have a very odd taste. Chimichanga was very dry, no cheese sauce over the too? It was fried in appearance, but not reallly because it was chewy and not crunchy. For the cost of the water cheese sauce, they should have filled it up. The mixed platter was chicken, fish and shrimp but there wasn't any chicken. This platter being $16 should have more fried pieces with it. I am not calling them because I sucked it up as a bad experience. Know this, I will never return and continue to visit Casa Ole or find somewhere in...

HANDS DOWN THE WORST "MEXICAN" FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN, and I've eaten at the Casa Ole in Jasper. The serving size was meant for a child compared to the prices paid. The fajita nacho chips were stale and had a strange oily oder. The chefs special fajitas were 3-4 slivers of steak and chicken each that were overwhelming underseasoned while the shrimp was overcooked and overseasoned. Certainly not enough food for 3 fajitas. Have already gotten sick from what little we were able to eat. Even the sour cream smelled as though it had spoiled.

Our waitress was polite and quick. Checked on us multiple times and quickly refilled our drinks without having to be notified that we were out.

When we attempted to bring the concerns about our food to the manager, he turned his nose up at us with a sour look. We hastily left after paying the bill for the absolutely awful food but still left a tip to...

This was by far the best Mexican food I have ever had. I couldn't decide on the margarita and our amazing waiter offered the flight choice so I could try 4! Price is very reasonable. I had the chimichanga and it was amazing. My husband has the Lupe's fajitas and they were delicious. The mushrooms and veggies were grilled to perfection along with the shrimp! I couldn't help but steal some! Our waiter Zack was absolutely incredible, super helpful and so polite!

Food always good! First time trying the Carne Guisada - YUM, will go back for more! Went on a Thursday evening and they have live music between 6pm-8pm…if you sit near band it can be loud and they were good …we enjoyed the music but I’m glad we sat further back so we could also enjoy conversation.
