Hawaiian Time — Restaurant in Oregon City

I went into the store and ordered take out. I was charged for 3 meals and I only ordered 2. In which one was wrong. I went back into the store to tell them I was charged for 3 and one was wrong. I wish I would have asked for names because a younger white lady was super helpful. The lady who took my order to begin with was a younger Asian lady and super rude. When I asked if my order that was wrong was fixed yet she said idk threw her hand up and rolled her she’s visibly while helping another customer. I then told her there was no need for that I simply asked a question and she kept rolling her eyes. The other lady came back from trying to call the higher manager and the Asian girl started freaking out telling the other worker to get me out the store and have me stop talking and then started crying and walked away while customers were at the counter. I don’t mind orders were messed and I understand mistakes happen but the lady who took my order was absolutely rude and her actions were completely uncalled for. I noticed when people would talk to her or people came into the store she waved her hand in the air like she was shooing them and would say be right with you. I don't understand the high ratings this place consistently receives from online reviews. Years ago, this place was actually pretty good, but that just isn't the case anymore. When I started working in Oregon City again over a year ago, I was looking forward to going back to Hawaiian Time, but it's not the same. I've tried it a few times since I've been back, with different dishes, and the results are always the same. The meat is always overcooked and flavorless, the mac salad is gluey and doesn't taste fresh, and more than a few tables seem to always be sticky. The biggest criticism comes down to the flavor --there really isn't any; eating the food is like experiencing sauce and texture, but nothing else.

I Went to get lunch for my employees. The food was ready, but when I asked for a receipt I got a rude reaction from the front desk employee who stated, " Well I have to get the manager for that!" 15 minutes later they found the manager who was even more rude. She said they don't print receipts because of covid and customer contact. Printing a receipt and placing in the bag with the food we ordered does not require ANY contact. Receipts should not have to be asked for they should be provided with every transaction unless you are trying to hide something. The very rude attitude was even more appalling and other customers witnessed this too and said I should file a review. Our business for this location is gone and we frequent restaraunts almost every day. Poor Poor customer service more from the manager then the other employee!
