Beautiful, immaculate indoor play space. Bigger than wiggle room, with more visibility than PDX Play date. The owner is a mom and has thought of everything here. The play equipment is clean, well-maintained, and fun. Other places are dirty, broken down, and run by disinterested teens - so this is a delightful place. Itās like everything I want in a playground very close to Portland. $16 per kid over 2. Open 9am-7am on Saturday!! No random two-hour window etc. Reasonably priced birthday parties.
Good value and providing what families want without a zillion up charges. Forgot socks? Can buy a pair for $1.50 at wholesale cost.
Rules are clear, visibility is good, so this is a great place especially for ages 2-8. Babies are welcome and kids under 2 are free with a sibling. My baby crawled around on the floor and that was fine. Picked her up with it was prime time for three year olds to rampage through here (as they should!!). Then it quieted down and we could play some more.
Thereās a nice little corner for some wall-mounted items. Soft support block against the wall for babes learning to stand.
Bigger kids could have fun here too. Everything is reasonably priced, friendly and attentive owner who is open to feedback and tweaking everything until it reaches as close to perfect as a place with kids can be. We were there during a birthday party and it was great, not too crowded. The coffee is really good, kids food is simple crowd-pleasers, and there is beer/wine for grown ups if they want it. But everyone was still watching their kids and intervening as necessary. Parking is plentiful. Area is well-kept and feels new. Bathrooms are spotless. Tables are wiped and sanitized between uses. Crumbs swept up. A fast-filling water fountain with cups right next to it so no nasty water fountain.
Baked goods are fresh and tasty. Beautiful murals on the walls. Wall outlets accessible from every table. Fire extinguisher readily accessible. A kiddo had a scraped knee outside and they staff got out a big first aid kit and helped them get patched up.
Some of the steps getting up were a little big for 2-3 year olds, but that may have been by design so they donāt climb parts that might be difficult for them. It seems like it took some time but they ma aged to get up eventually.
Absolutely worth the drive. In an era when places try to give you less and charge you more, this place delivers excellent value in a beautiful location. Letās help keep it nice and pristine for a fellow mom and small business owner. Best one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe took our toddler here for the first time yesterday and I know he enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, accommodating, kind, and understanding when dealing with neurodivergent customers and having to work with the sound of children play-screaming in the background and all around. There was a party going on in one of the party rooms, but you wouldn't have known aside from the staff asking if we were part of the party or if we were separate, or the sign for the door. Any noise was very well managed by the design of the space and/or adults involved.
The play structure was sturdy and age appropriate for the target age range. Toddlers will have a difficult time getting up to the slide due to a ledge that's a bit on the high side, but my husband and I were both able to climb up and hang out in turns to help our toddler get up the final ledge. The rules of the play structure and establishment in general are simple, easy to follow, and reasonable.
My husband and I were surprised at how easy it is to hold a conversation in the eating area. It was incredibly clean and well kept all throughout the establishment. There is nice noise balancing throughout the whole place. We ordered a half Hawaiian half meat 16 inch pizza, a Mediterranean salad, some popcorn chicken for the tot. It was all delicious and had great flavor. My toddler is a picky eater, especially about his chicken nuggets, and he was more than happy to eat their popcorn chicken and said they tasted good. Despite the party also needing food prepared for them, we received our order quite quickly. The staff are very efficient in their kitchen space.
We were there from about 4:30pm-6:30pm on a Friday night. On our way out, we were already discussing returning again sometime. It wasn't terribly chaotic and it wasn't too quiet. It was honestly just right. Keep it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAside from this play place being extremely tiny, the owner, Darcy, is incredibly rude. My family and I got turned away because I had my service dog with me. She demanded a certificate proving he was a service dog and by law and ADA there is no such thing. I asked her to show me what certificate she wanted me to bring in and Iād happily apply for it and yet she said she had no idea what it was or what it looked like. She didnāt have any of her facts straight on this matter which resulted in us leaving with unhappy kids. Iām at least happy this situation happened before we paid. We ended up taking our business to Raindrops Playhouse in Happy Valley and they gladly accepted us. In the end it worked out for us because they charged exactly the same for so much more and much more affordable food. We also appreciate being able bring in our own snacks if we wanted. Now we know where to go to in the future and to AVOID this unfriendly establishment. Picture of my service dog calmly laying down next to me while my kids played and where he continued to politely stay for almost 3hrs.
I sincerely hope that this new business owner of Wildlings can realize that kindness goes a long way and hope she does some research on this matter so she doesnāt offend someone else with a disability and...
