I've been in several times in person and I've ordered delivery through third parties such as Uber Eats. I normally don't have an issue with the food here, but tonight, I ordered a family meal of orange chicken, rice, and chow mein, with some super greens in the mix, delivery style. For some reason unknown to me, there was something incredibly spicy in the super greens. It caught both me and my toddler by surprise. I'm a little concerned about food safety and cross contamination. This is one of my safe foods as someone with autism related eating difficulties. Again, typically the food is decent! Just, tonight, it's like someone tossed a few extra chilis or something into the super greens than necessary for the recipe. I tried to call not once but twice to request they at least check for potential of cross contamination between their hot holding area, and got not even a voicemail option. The automated system simply said to use their rewards app to earn rewards, and then rang a few times before saying, "Sorry, there's no one available to answer your call. Goodbye!" The call ended immediately, not by me pressing end call. It would be nice to at least be able to get on the phone with someone and ask about what's up with the food. I'm unsure of how people with food allergies would be able to get in contact with them after an exposure if their food got mixed up because of this. Hopefully things get figured out.
Edited to add that I found a piece of very odd colored wilting kale in the super greens as I got further down into the container. I also bit into a nasty tasting piece of broccoli, and I LOVE broccoli. Looks like there's bits of expired kale in here at the bottom too. Added photos for reference, including a "healthy" piece of kale next to the questionable one.
Editing AGAIN to add that I bit into the orange chicken, which I ordered regular and not spicy, and it's spicy as all get out! The chow mein noodles are also under cooked. This is...
Read morePanda Express, based on the provided experiences, I would rate it a mixed two-star review. Let me break it down for you.
The orange chicken, as always, was great and met expectations. However, the teriyaki chicken took much longer than initially communicated, exceeding the promised time by over 20 minutes. This delay was certainly disappointing.
Furthermore, there was a mix-up with one of my orders. Instead of receiving the desired chow mien, my bowl had the same sides as my friend's order (rice and chow mien). It's frustrating when separate orders are confused, especially when we specifically requested different sides.
The restaurant seemed incredibly busy, which likely contributed to the delays and order mix-up. My friend, Leo, was growing increasingly impatient, feeling as if his order had been forgotten entirely. His frustration was evident, as he exclaimed, "Where's my fu* food?"
Considering the delicious orange chicken and the unfortunate mishaps with the teriyaki chicken, order mix-up, and longer wait times, a two-star rating feels appropriate. The overall experience was a mix of both satisfying and frustrating...
Read moreI just swung by the Panda Express in Oregon City to grab dinner for my amazing wife, because when your wife loves Panda Express, you make it happen. She’s especially crazy about their Orange Chicken, so I knew exactly what to order.
The team here was on point, fast, friendly, and everything was fresh. Even though I was getting it to-go, the food was hot, the portions were generous, and the smell in the car was almost too much to handle on the drive home (I may have stolen a bite… purely for quality control).
When I got home, my wife’s face lit up like it was Christmas morning. That perfect mix of crispy chicken with that sweet and tangy orange glaze never disappoints. I swear, Panda Express in Oregon City could make anyone’s day better, but tonight, they made my wife’s—and that’s worth every penny.
Five stars for great service, great food, and helping me keep my “Best Husband...
