Kent Phó Vietnamese Restaurant — Restaurant in Oregon City

I was really looking forward to dining at Pho Kent, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. From the moment we walked in, the waiter was unwelcoming—he didn’t greet us and simply told us to pick a table from across the room.

Throughout the meal, he was impatient and made us feel rushed. He repeatedly asked if we were ready to order, barely giving us five minutes before circling back. At one point, even as I was on my way to the restroom, he stopped me to ask again. It felt intrusive and made the experience uncomfortable. When he finally took our order, he was abrupt and rude, and when collecting the menus, his demeanor was anything but courteous.

When he brought our food, there was no friendliness or even basic politeness—just a cold, dismissive attitude. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers.

Good food can’t make up for poor service, and unfortunately, this experience made it difficult to enjoy the meal. I hope the restaurant addresses this, as hospitality is just as important as the...

Great Food, Nice staff, Chill setting!!!

Family and I went out for Dinner mid-week. It wasn't too busy. One child is picky, but raved over the spring rolls. The other child had the sandwich and loved it. Mom got the #7 Grilled chicken, pork and shrimp with rice and it came with some veggie. She ate everything and loved it all. I had the #12 Kent special Basil Chicken. This was a stir fried dish with fresh onion, red & green bell peppers, and large pieces of basil. The sauce was mildly spicy and sweet. The chicken was thinly sliced and tender. It came with white rice. It was fantastic!

The menu is very limited but was extended by the daily specials. We actually find this to be a positive. We've been to places with 100's of items and many of them sound similar. Having a few things that you do well is appreciated. They also served bubble tea, Vietnamese coffee and thai tea. Maybe we'll even try the Pho...

My bar for Vietnamese food is pretty high and this place nailed it. My mother, who is Vietnamese and an incredible cook, loves the food here as well. Since she has discovered this place about a month ago I bet she has been here almost a dozen times. The food is outstanding. Pho is on point. Service is wonderful. Hope this place stays around for a long time.

December 2019 - Been here a few times again as recent as last night. Again, took my mother who really enjoys the food and people. I had the Pho again, second time here, and it is simply incredible.
