A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Oregon

I don't come here often, but I across the street at the hospital after work one night and needed a quick bite to eat. The food was fine, nothing fancy from a fast food place. I do love the Onion rings and baby corn dogs though. The service is hit or miss though. I walked in, thinking it would be faster than going through the drive through (that had 2 people in line). One person was waiting for food, so I ordered my food and drink and waited.... Waited a bit too long for just a burger and onion rings. The couple that came in 3-4 minutes after me got their food before me. Don't know if the workers were newer, or just didn't realize that I hadn't gotten my food. But I finally got it after 6-7 minutes of waiting and it wasn't even that warm. I was super hungry, so I wasn't going to complain. Maybe they just have off days, or different people have a different pace/awareness of what is happening. I'll be back eventually, cause I'll be in the area and want...

I was in the area and I walked in for a bite. I remember all the fond memories as a kid of the A&W. The order takers on skates coming up and taking you order. The trays they placed the bounty of food on the side of your car. Getting your parents to buy you root beer so you can go home and make root beer floats! I miss those memories, sadly you don't get that experience. The location was clean and the food was good, the forgot to ask if we wanted any condiments and had to ask for them. I forgot to ask for a root beer float I had meant to take on...

I go here fairly often, the food has been very consistent/ as expected and the staff are always friendly. However, a couple times, the wait to get food has been incredibly long, and it almost always takes longer than it should/does at other locations. On the plus side, the lot is pretty easy to get in and out of, and there are always enough parking spots and tables.

If you want fast food as busy times of day, you are probably better off somewhere else, but if you have time, they will have room for you and you'll get what...
