The food isn't bad, although my tastebuds are spoiled, they hit close. Unfortunately no hand made/pressed tortillas, and the camarones a la diabla was all spice and no sweet. (They did tell me they could made it sweet and spicy when I asked). Rice flavor wasn't there, and the beans were clumpy/not thick enough, but I still ate it. The vegetables were crisp and cold, everything was very edible, just very American-ized.
Quesabirria was flavorful, beef was shredded nicely and was pre dressed which is interesting.
I didn't know what to expect with the consome as I've only ever had consome de chivo, but dressed with cilantro and onion, a little lime and it was good to go. I tried it by itself, the flavor of the beef was there, not overpowering.
The tables were clean when I got there, and cleaned throughout. I definitely wouldn't honor the 5 second rule off the floor, but that's why we wear shoes.
They have every right to brag, a solid 7.5/10 just from the small portion I tried,...
Read moreWorst customer service I have ever had!!! I’m allergic to avocados. I ordered the chili relleno, which I have had before (it’s ok), no pico de gallo and no avocado. It was a togo order. When my husband brought it back there was both pico de gallo and even worst avocado. My husband took back my chili relleno to have them remake it. He brought it back and it was the same one. They had just took out the lettuce, tomato, avocado and pico de gallo. He also ordered more tacos.
Just because of this we will no longer be ordering from them! All they had to do was remake my chili relleno. They are lucky I looked at it first. Saw how watery the red sauce was (from the pico) and then felt that it was cold. If I would have eaten that and gone into anaphylactic shock, their family business would no longer be there’s. All because they didn’t want to remake an order they messed up. Pure laziness!
If your looking for great food and service, I suggest you...
Read moreThis was my first time coming here with my boyfriend. The location is moderate size. A woman behind the counter greeted us. She was bilingual. We ordered 4 tacos de Birria, 2 tacos de Lengua, 2 tacos de Asada, 2 tacos de Carnitas y un Consume. The consume was good, it had a lot of flavor but I wish it would've came with little bits of meat. The Lengua was soft and warm but it needed salt. The tables didn't have salt and pepper on them. They did have 3 different kinds of salsas in bottles. My favorite was Roja because it had a hint of Chipotle. The Asada tacos were delicious. I would order a whole plate of them again! The Carnitas had a good flavor and I liked the slightly dry texture to them. I loved their music selection, definitely made me reminiscence my childhood. The bathrooms were well stocked, clean and had a pleasant tropical smell. Clean up was a breeze. Overall a very...
