As a regular customer I go here all the time. But after what i witnessed the other night I will never go there again. I came in for my regular order and witnessed an older Man and his service animal being treated like garbage. The older man obviously was a regular and everyone but the Owner knew him and knew him well by their kind treatment and happiness to see him. Before he could place his order a middle aged woman began to ask him for proof of his service animals credentials, asking him to prove why she was a service animal and demanded he explained what his affliction was to justify a service animal. He looked so sad and betrayed and began to tell her she had only the right to ask if she was a service animal and the function the animal was with him for. but she was so aggressive and demeaning to him for no reason. he began to get nervous and scared at the aggression he tried to explain he had been beat and abused in several ways being an old man and a veteran. She just wouldn't leave him alone , i could see the pain and trauma she was causing him and bringing back all the pain he had suffered in order to justify this beautiful little dachshund that clung so closely to hid side. he asked her to please leave him alone and why she waited so long after he entered to ask him all these unneeded mean spirited questions. He asked for the owner because he said the owner knew him well and never made him go through this in the past. All along customers coming and going you could see how bad she was embarrassing him. Another owner ? came out and got in his face as well. then another man (owner?) came out too. they told him they were the new owners and the previous kind owner was no longer there. They also refused to reveal their names to him I have to ask the owner of Roxy's Corporate why didn't the lady ask him as he entered the business quietly instead of embarrassing and berating him? Why did she see the need to embarrass him in front of the employees that had known him as the kind man with the weinerdog? Why she didn't just ask him to put the dog in his car while ordering and waiting for this food order? After calling another Roxys and being apologized to for the store on Tualatin Highways Actions. The owner of the franchise has made no effort to reach back to me. What that tells me is money over customer happiness is a practice of Roxys franchise Business. How could these people treat a man like this? how could they treat a veteran like this? After all they broke the law and committed a felonious crime against him for no reason other than to flex their muscles in a "I'M THE NEW OWNER LOOK AT ME WAY" I hope the poor man sues them for this felonious act. My advice is do not support them any longer and go somewhere else that treats you fairly and appreciates a long time repeat business person Signed appalled and...
Read moreIf this was my first visit this would probably be a 2 or 1 star review. Been going to this location since they opened and the Beaverton one since it opened. Always been a great place for Hawaiian comfort food.
I understand the staffing issues many businesses are having- but it seems it's becoming an excuse for poor service or food. That may not be the case here- just an observation.
I came in the other night, small amount of people inside, 2 in line. The ordering process wasn't bad, the girl said about 15 minutes as a couple of the orders had to be prepared fresh.
After about 10 minutes the people in front of me got their food, which also required extra prep. After 30 minutes I heard the guy now at the counter say that they were running out of teriyaki chicken. He then made the decision to give tge remaining teriyaki chicken to a couple of single orders of people who came in substantially after me and have me wait longer. Granted- could see our other food waiting in the window while they grilled more.
By the time they got me our food it had been over 40 minutes with no real apology. Guess what. Cold and no good. Literally for no reason except poor time management.
I'll wait for good food, but this was a double bad night. No caring by the staff either. One more chance before I never come back
Been going to Roxys since the one in Beaverton opened off Walker & Cedar Hills. I think Roxys is my ultimate comfort food over pizza and anything I can think of right now. The Shoyu chicken and the garlic chicken are my favorites, but the others...
Read moreI want to start by saying I love Roxy's, I use to only go to the one on Walker Rd before they moved locations and the food was always deliciously perfect. I went to the Walker Rd location on a day myself and 2 friends couldn't fight the craving after not having much to eat all day, we drove to our favorite location only to discover it was moved so we drove to the new location which was closed due to low staff. Unable to make a decision on another dinner option we decided to drive to this location on TV HWY. It was just as busy as the location on Walker Rd which I would think is a good sign. My friends and I made our orders and proceeded to wait. I'd say it took us about 30+ minutes to receive our order, we even saw people who ordered after us getting their orders before us, still we waited patiently. When we finally got home with our meals and started eating we all voiced how different the food was from the one on Walker Rd and not in a good way, it was a major disappointment, especially since we drove to 3 different locations for it. I had the Shoyu Chicken with Mac Salad, the meat was cold and dry and barely tasted of anything, marinade or seasoning , and the mac salad tasted completely different. I didn't even want to eat it. We all agreed we'd never be back this location. I'm not even sure i'd try find a better one. It was fun while it...
