So, I am updating my review for Taco Time. They have recently been making some changes. I do love how they have cleaned the place up, except I wish they would put napkins and plasticware out for guests. The issues I mentioned below haven't changed, but I am used to paying for salsa fresca and I just buy two of them. However, I see someone else mentioned this in their review and I agree...PLEASE TURN DOWN THE MUSIC (and maybe change it to something besides classic country)...it's pretty obnoxious. Thanks for the good things you're doing. Hoping a few more tweaks can happen to make this a 4-5 star experience.
My review from 6 months ago: We have gone to Taco Time in Orem for many years I have always love their food. Their service has usually been good, as well. I was sad when they stopped having courtesy after dinner mints available for guests, and I was very disappointed tonight to find out they no longer have free pico out for guests. You have to order it and pay 75 cents for about a teaspoon of it. The cup sizes have shrunk in half from what they used to be. I'd hope they can at least come up with some bigger containers if they are going to charge, but I hope they change their minds and put the pico back...
Read moreMe, my daughter and my granddaughter decided to stop by for a quick bite one night about a month ago and I can't tell you how dang nice the guy was at the register. Lately it's really hard to find someone who smiles, let alone welcomes you in, thanks you for your business and gives you a free drink. That never happens! I wish I'd caught this guys name b/c he was so friendly and it was just really refreshing and caught me off guard. Me and my daughter both talked about it afterwards and I meant to give a review right away. TBH..I kinda feel like Taco Time has been going down hill and I'd started to lose faith, but this guy restored it. He was a slightly older guy (and by that I mean just older than the young kids usually working fast food)..he was probably close to 30 and had dark hair..probably 6ft and just gave great service. I really appreciate that and I'll definitely be back to the Orem location. Food was pretty good, I feel Taco Time used to be way better than they are now; definitely fresher and not stingy with toppings. I'm not sure what happened to them over the last 4-5 years or so, but no matter.. I'd still choose them over Taco...
Read moreI’ve been to TacoTime in two different locations a couple times each. To say that taco time has the least consistency Out of any other fast food restaurant would be an understatement. Tonight I decided to go to the taco time in Orem and I ordered my meal which consisted of two soft bean burritos, two cheese quesadillas, a small Mexi fry and two sides of ranch, The tater tots were from yesterday or simply reheated because they were disgusting. two mini quesadillas were the only things worth eating the two burritos We’re so small they simply should be called rollers not burritos. And I don’t know how much simpler it can get than beans and cheese and it seems like they couldn’t do that to the best of their ability. The sides of ranch were pretty much empty, just two empty containers. The people that work at the Orem location just do not care about the quality their customers are receiving. I don’t recommend taco time to anyone and I will never be returning...
