UPDATE 2: I have to say, sometimes you lose faith and wonder if consumerism and on demand culture has just created a society of rude people, and consequently, rude service workers. I have always purposely shopped small to avoid this because supporting neighbors is very important to us, but when I had this experience with the Chicago Brothers staff, I was starting to see the trickle effect! However, I was very pleased at the extremely professional response I received from management in regard to this matter, and the assurance that this will be a training point. And I am not sure who delivered the replacement pizza, because my autistic son answered the door, but I overheard the heartfelt apology. Thank you. I'm also happy to say the pizza was delicious.
UPDATE: The General Manager contacted me and apologized for the service I received and will be making it right. I appreciate their attention and commitment to fixing it with us. I have upgraded the service stars to 4 based on this response. We look forward to trying again tonight and I will update the other stars after the kids eat. Thank you!
I am kind of in shock over the terrible customer service I have just received. First and last time we will order from Chicago Brothers Pizza. We waited well over an hour and no one arrived, so I called to ask the status because I have two very hungry little guys who just finished trick or treating. The girl who answered the phone said "oh sorry you called and said you would be picking it up". I said, umm no, that never happened. She said "oh yes it did", attempting to gaslight me. 🥴 No apology just a weird indignant accusation. I am not even sure why I bothered defending myself but explained that its just me, my husband and my two small children who live here and therefore it would be impossible that either of us would call to say we are picking up the order, to which she interrupts me and asks if I still want to pick it up. I asked then to speak with a manager, and boy it did not get any better. Not once did I hear an apology out of his mouth either. The manager was stammering and asking me what I want him to do. It was the most strange business interaction I think I've ever had in my life, so I am going to guess the food is just as suspect. Good luck having a successful business when both your manager and staff are 14 years old. Yep, I am hangry. Also where...

We didn't want to do a chain restaurant so thought we would try local. The kids liked the plain cheese deep dish pizza. It had a moderate amount of cheese and the crust was good when drenched in ranch the way teens like it. Lol.
The CB Special wasn't anything special but still ok. I think for the price it should have had more toppings. Lack luster seasoning and needed ranch.
The Chicago style deep dish was not worth the money. They put a second crust on the top and then topped that with 3 items of your choice. I haven't experienced that before in a deep dish pie. The actual taste (spices and crust) was very lacking. We actually ended up throwing 3 pieces away which is unheard of in my family! They also put spinach as one of the items that come inside every pie and while I love spinach, I wasn't a fan.
If you're looking for a sit down restaurant, this isn't your place. They had tables but everything is self serve.
Overall, it was just ok but I wish we had...
Read moreMy father had a large order of 4 12 inch pizzas, 3/4 pizzas had the cheese on the top of the box. We were informed that this was because we stacked the pizzas, but I don't know why they wouldn't tell us that may happen before we had stacked them? I understand that our order had been placed incorrectly for my pizza, and instead of cheese, had spinach and sausage inside it as well. I'm just disappointed that there was no writing on any of the boxes indicating which pizza was which, and what toppings were inside, because by the time we realized that mine had sausage in it, we were already 25 minutes away, and I can't eat pork. I'm an adult and can pick out sausage, and the pizza still tastes good, because despite the look of it, it's still a pizza!
EDIT: My father just told me that they had offered to make it right, and he declined since we were so far away already. I've bumped my review up to three stars, because I appreciate good...
