Boba Heaven — Restaurant in Orland Township

I’m giving 2 stars just because the service was good but the brown sugar boba is NOT GOOD. I love bubble tea and I’ve had brown sugar bubble tea from many places but this is the worst brown sugar boba I ever had. The syrup tasted like those syrups people eat with pancakes or waffles for breakfast and I recommend the store using a different type of syrup because the drink would already taste a bit better if the syrup was a better one. Also, the drink itself was not good and the tapioca pearls were not good either too chewy to the point I had to chew a lot for just one tapioca pearl. I like trying different boba places (I’ve had boba from more than 10 different cafes/restaurants) and the brown sugar boba here is not good. I haven’t tried anything from the menu besides one of their smoothies and it was okay, I recommend getting their smoothies instead of brown sugar boba if you really have to buy a drink there but even the smoothie had the same bad tapioca pearls, I personally didn’t like any of the two...

unfortunately the brown sugar boba was disgusting!!! i could barely drink more than a few sips (only tried to drink more bc we paid $8+ for it!!!) but i ended up throwing it out like immediately bc it actually tasted like salt water. i really wanted to get a refund bc it was expensive asl (and for a size small), but i didn’t wanna drive all the way back and waste my gas!! anyways, i’m never going back/do not recommend the place. if u want a really good brown sugar boba for the same price + a large size, try the new 2teas place across the street- that’s where i was originally going to get my drink but they closed early. the 2teas on harlem is veryy yummy, same price...

This was my 2nd time visiting and the difference was night and day. First visit I had a very sullen guy take my order and that was it. This trip, I was asked if I had a punch card, what flavor of macarons I wanted and was shocked when I told him I didn't get asked any of this. He then gave me a punch card and pre punched for the last trip as well as today.
