Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Orland Township

WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!! The owner of this location is not a man of his word. Came here with my family 20 minutes before close only to find his employee was hanging out with her friends and had to shut down all of the machines. If the store closes at 9 p.m. they should not close down any machines until then. We were not able to get any ice cream after driving 20 minutes to get here because it's the closest location to us. Called corporate to file a complaint and received a phone call from the owner of this location a few days later stating to come back in anytime and he would give me and my family a round of free ice cream. Just got here today and this was not the case. Conveniently he doesn't seem to remember the conversation and did not honor his word. I am a small business owner and if I say something I do it. This is not the way to run a business. Thumbs...

Went there Sunday night (10/14) exactly 30 mins before close and as we were parking the girl hurried up and shut off the open signs and ran to the back, I also noticed her popping her head around the machines before I got out of the car. We proceeded to walk in, as did about 2 other cars that had just pulled up, for the girl to tell everyone she had just turned off the machines for the night.. very LAZY and unprofessional service! If you see people pulling up to your store and turn everything off with half an hour still left, it's simple ice cream not like you had a whole lot to do! And if she claims to have done it before hand even worse because that would be about 40 mins still left...

We ordered a cake for my son’s birthday. My wife went to pick up In a hurry after work. They forgot it. The single employee working scribbled on a random cake. In a hurry didn’t check quality. Once home, realized it’s ineligible. I called they said bring it back. I left my son’s birthday party to go get what we paid for. 20 minute drive. She used a generic cake and wrote the message more legibly. Offered me 3 single dollar bills out of the register. Still, we have no idea what kind of cake it is. I’ll find out when I cut into it if it’s what he requested. Zero customer service. Zero customer satisfaction. First review...
