I had some friends coming into town, and I always like to take these friends somewhere special when they're in town, so of course, I brought them to Bosphorous! I loved the first two locations I tried, so I thought I would come to this third location to see if it was just as good. Spoiler alert, it was. A beautifully Turkish designed interior was a wonderful contrast to the hyper-modern Lake Nona that it is surrounded by. We all got seated, all got our delicious Turkish sodas, and looked at this lavish menu. We all kind of shared some apps, including the staple Lavas (Our signature, baked to-order bread creation). Look up pictures of this thing. It's glorious. I love a good flat bread that you can rip and dip and use to eat all other parts of your meal. Like tortillas when I was growing up. What did I use it to eat? The Mixed Appetizer (A combination of Humus, Babaganoush, Sautéed Eggplant, Muhammara, Ezme, Tarama, Haydari and Zetinyagli Yaprak Dolma). Every one of these cold dips is amazing in its own way, and I recommend you venture outside of your comfort zone if you think this sounds off. It'll be worth it. My favorite is the red pepper one right nuts in it. Forgot the name, but it's there! I also got to try the Sigara Boregi (Crispy filo dough stuffed with creamy feta cheese and parsley). It was like a mega crispy feta cheese eggroll. One bite and boom, filo flakes everywhere. It's a lot of fun. Very decadent. Dip it in a few of your dips! For entrees, I got to try Moussaka (Roasted eggplant layered with fresh ground lamb and tomatoes, topped with a light béchamel sauce and kasar cheese, then baked to perfection. Served with rice pilaf). This was wonderfully different from any other moussaka I've had before. The eggplant wasn't very eggplanty, if that makes sense. It's just a nice solid thing to eat with our yummy ground lamb. Covered with a ton of cheese, served with rice pilaf. Can't go wrong here. My main main was splitting the Mixed Grill for Two (A delicious combination of Doner Kebap, Chicken & Lamb Adana Kebap, Chicken & Lamb Sis Kebap, and Chicken & Lamb Köfte. Served over our rice pilaf). I've had this three time before. You can't go wrong with it. It's perfect. Chicken and lamb served in a wide variety of textures. I know that sounds boring, but take a bite of that chicken kebap and the juicy char flavor that you will experience will make you understand. I am in love with this dish. Get it. Even if you're alone. Overall, all three locations I've visited were lovely. You just can't go wrong with any of them. Please come here.

We came here on a Saturday night. We made reservations online 45 minutes before, so we felt lucky. They had live music and a gathering in the area so it wasn't a quiet evening but the sooo lively. I loved the vibe and felt we lucked out with this added bonus of great music. We parked in a garage that was very close, so I was able to wear my heels and not complain. Lots of outdoor seating, we were early. The hostesses were very nice. We had a drink at the busy bar. Otto 75, amazing delicately flavored drink. Our table was ready on time and we sat indoors. We had an amazing server, Ladonna. It was so busy and she was so attentive. She made excellent recommendations. We got cold appetizers that were the best Middle Eastern dishes I ever had. Babaganoush, creamy and full, hummus that was perfectly balanced, my absolute favorite was the eggplant and muhhamarah... i will not share next time. It brought out the savage in me i didn't know i had. :( . We ordered the extra large bread. I liked it's thinness with my apps, but the pita that came with it was more than adequate. We had lamb shanks (2 huge pieces) it was served over the tastiest, buttery rice. There was a rich sauce that we used our bread to dip into...omg..so heavenly. I got the lamb adana that was so moist and flavorful and had the perfect char and meaty springiness. I did bring that home and shared with my pickiest child..who ate the entire kabob. The dishes were served with pickled veggies that we ate very little of,not because it didn't taste good...but it was too much food. I did bring that home as well and used it as an addition for breakfast. I did not want to leave a thing back. It was that good. I did see many people asking for boxes to go. That shows how much food you get and that no one wanted to leave anything back either. We got the chocolate mousse and hazelnut backlava and turkish coffee. They weren't basic by far, quite delicious, but nothing extraordinary. I cannot wait to come back here. I will be bringing my kids, my parents, guests and my girlfriends. I also will be ordering take out for sure. Such a great spot to eat great food, with excellent service. We walked Boxi Park after...such a great evening!!!

First time eating here and first time eating Turkish cuisine, period, and I hope it's not my last time! The food was delicious. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and the restaurant itself looks immaculate! You can tell they have a quality cleaning crew taking care of the place. I had the lamb over rice and it was melt off the bone tender. I've only had lamb a few times in my life, so my taste pallets are still a bit unaccustomed to the distinct lamb flavor, but it was cooked to perfection. The sauce is great. I tried my wife's lamb which was prepared differently but wonderful all the same. My wife is a coffee lover, and though this place doesn't offer cream with their coffee, my wife absolutely loved the coffee that had just a little sugar added to it. But let me tell you about their house made lemon baklava cheesecake. Cheesecake factory who? You better kick cheesecake factory to the curb if you want some genuine top of the line, make you come back just for dessert, cheesecake. Forget 10/10. 10000/10000! Truly one of the best, if not the best pieces of cheesecake I've ever had. Nice and cold, but not at all frozen. Creamy. The Baklava in the middle was so delightful and the subtle lemon flavor made this dessert sensation a perfect ending to a wonderful afternoon meal with some of my family. The Lord Jesus continue to bless this place... Thanks for the great meal!

So I had the general manager informed me that he will no longer be giving me my military discount there because I was trying to figure out what me getting a 25% discount on my food and me grabbing a happy hour drink while I couldn’t be discounted on both because they were completely separate from each other. The thing is when I got there I was gonna cash out with the hoes for my meal which I would’ve gotten my 25% off of my food no questions asked and then I would’ve sat at the bar and had my one drink before I went to my appointment . Which I’ve done multiple times in the past never had any issues I’m gonna tell you the other general managers and other managers have been amazing . But this manager be a general manager was rude and disgusting. Granted he did end up, giving me a discount on both of my items, but then proceeded to tell me he will never offer me my military discount there again. Completely unneeded if he would’ve handed me a bill and just said sorry we can’t do it. This is your bill. I apologize that it wasn’t mentioned when you went to order it with the bartender already knowing I am military and that’s what I’m there for is for the lunch Special With the military… Three years ago, I would’ve said this was a five star restaurant but today. I’m giving it a one star for multiple reasons. I’m sure if you show up that general manager might just not like you.. especially if you’re military I’ll give you the reasons i gave it one star it’s almost like he doesn’t like military personnel… I will list all the reasons that I listed as one star and I might seem petty but honestly, the way he treated me was like a peasant maybe it was because I was dressed in construction clothes and he doesn’t realize I’ve already spent thousands of dollars at this restaurant. But it is what it is. They have a beautiful bar and a beautiful layout and honestly great food, but I wouldn’t be confident and if it came out incorrect the day they would correct it and still leave you the portion that was bad to feed to your dog or just as leftovers because it’s going in the trash, regardless. But still if there was to correct it in trash shit that is still five stars all day. they would compensate or replace it and that is my biggest concern I really don’t believe they would do that but this new general manager because honestly, I asked for a medium and my lamb came out well done and I had already dealt with such an issue with them. I just took my food to go and had to go box and had to eat basically well done not so seasoned lamb… once upon a time it was delicious. I wouldn’t be willing to bet on it now though…. (Edit)… this is in response to the comment that was laid on here.. if I was informed beforehand that that was the case, I would’ve not gotten the drink the happy hour drink or maybe I would’ve got a single opposed to a double which is a $17 probably 2 ounce pour of caption which I could be wrong. I doubt this type of restaurant offers a 3 ounce poor for a double.. but regardless you gave me the double discount and you said it was a one time only thing but then in the same sentence told me you will never offer me a discount again. For what? Seriously… and then your employee came up to proceeded to ask if she should call the cops meanwhile I was never hostile. I never threw a temper tantrum. You could’ve charged me whatever you wanted to charge me and it was just what it was. I would’ve paid for my meal and left which I still paid for my meal regardless.. I was never irate and I was never unreasonable. Yeah, I was a little upset that my double captain and Coke cost just as much as my lunch, which mind you you guys cut down the portion by 25% and are even charging more than what you did a year or two back. Which that should be addressed to a customer that has been coming there for years. I literally shook hands with the bartender. I’ve been there so many times now granted I’m not a regular over the past couple years, but that doesn’t give me any...
