As a frequent customer I was excited to hear a 3rd location opened on Michigan st. I have visited both locations on international drive and kirkman rd numerous times with my kids and with my family. I have never come across any issues nor bad experiences. I went to this location with my family of 9. So when the hostess said 40 to 45 mins i wasn't alarmed im very well aware that to seat a bigger party it would take some time to clear some space. The hostess took my number and said we will call you so me and my family stepped out side to wait. With almost an hr wait we decided to walk over to the ross. We werent in there even 20 minutes when i see a call come through so i picked up but i guess at that same moment they hung up so i called back 3 times and it was a busy tone at the same time i am at the register cashing out but my sister in law and my kids walk back over to the restaurant (ross is literally a store over) 5 mins hadn't even passed but someone finally answered and said we are ready for you i said ok and walk over when i get there the two girls at the front are confused and said they sat someone else at our table and a random lady comes over i believe she was a server and was being extremely rude and disrespectful towards my sister in law. She was unprofessional and her tone was not customer service like at all. I tried to figure out where the mix up was and calm things down as we really just wanted to sit and eat at what we considered our favorite seafood place. well it seemed the girl up front is on her second day and the front end and back end that answered my call didn't communicate. Either way the black lady who came to supposedly Accommodate my family was unprofessional and aggressive. She kept saying rude comments to my sister in law who wasnt even speaking to her she turns to the new girl and says its not your fault your always going to have haters? Turns to me and says im going to seat you but you have to wait because I just sat another table she walks over to that table and starts bad mouthing me and my family? We left and i called to speak to management and the phone just gave a busy tone. Needless to say my family will never return to this location. Unfortunate because this location had a dj who was nice and playing good music he even gave my niece a coloring book. We went to the red lobster on colonial amazing from greeting at door , server , food! $230 and the server was well taken care of.$$$ as my family always does!! Update!! THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL! whoever cooked it did so with great concern for the diners experience. BUT! when we arrived there was a 45 minute wait because they were short staffed. We understood that. After we were seated with what little patrons were there it still took our waitress 10 min. To ask fir our order. Knowing full well that we had already been waiting with menus for 45 min already. After our order was placed an additional 10 was wasted before our drink order was taken. She brought all 10 drinks out about 2 at a time. SHE DID NOT KEEP OUR DRINKS FILLED! She nor the manager came to see how we enjoyed the food. It was as if whatever we Received was final. I got one ginger ale that was half finished when the food came and no other care was given to us as a group after the food came. Our appetizers that weâre ordered came with the main course and and by the time we were done we had to send for our waitress to get our bills. To put the icing on the cake gratuity was automatically taken out of our bills. The only reason that I am upset about this is because after our food was served our waitress sat at a table where she could see us on a personal phone call appearing to not want to be bothered, only when I passed her on my way to the restroom did the ask âyâall goodâ I said just I was just going to the restroom and she remained on her personal phone call.    Read moreI ordered food last Friday night, and they gave very little portions. The last time I ordered, the same thing happened. When it happened on Friday night, I called The Juicy Crab and complained. The lady who is always working answered the phone and promised me a double portion of crab the next time I ordered. Well, I ordered again on Sunday and it was only one cluster of crab instead of two. I called back and the same lady answered the phone and with great attitude she told me that they have cameras and they gave me a double portion of crab, then hung up the phone. I disputed the charge since I was never made whole, and of course my bank denied it because I did order the food with my debit card. I will admit the first few times I ordered food from TJC, I was satisfied with the food and portions, only a bit too spicy for very mild sauce. However, when they started skimming on the food and charging the same prices, that's where I had to draw the line. TJC, you can keep your crab and your lies because what you give is what you shall receive. You have lost a seafood lover that will NEVER order from you again and no need to worry. I do not need to speak badly of your restaurant because if you continue to do business like this, I'm sure you won't stay in business much longer.
